| Anyone knows/remembers if any Canadian or US channel (sat or cable) will be showing the Opening ceremonies? I can't find any info on it. Or will they show it just before the opening game? |

| The only way Brazil isn't gonna take this world cup is if they lose in the 1/16th finals when they get out of the group stage. They will either play Italy or Check Repiblik in the first round. That is the only way they will be out, once they get past this stage and pick up all the confidence in the world, no one is touching them after. |

I know that ABC, ESPN, and ESPN2 will have live coverage...my best bet would be ABC, but not sure

The Italians won't do any damage as usual :toothless I say Argentina is a worthy oponent though, not sure why nobody's mentioning them at all ;) |
