lol The Aussie player tried to slide tackle the Italian player cleanly along the ground going for the ball and completly missed both ball and player. Then Italian Player actually took a complete step and then tripped of the Aussie in the Box! Game over. lol |

Thats the case in most Italy games. Its not so much they get owned as it is simply their style of play. They're defensive team that waits for a mistake and takes advantage. Im sure ball possession will look similar in their other wins too.
Im sure the AUssie's did play great though, i expected them to give Italy a run for their money and possibly even win. |

also, with the red cards, with portugal is was a hand ball and an ungentlemanly conduct of kicking the ball away. 2 yellows which resulted in 2 reds. both very stupid...for netherlands it was an elbow which is basically an automatic red and a hacking of tiago's legs, both second yellows and followed by reds. both stupid plays by both teams.

i'm not DEFENDING portugal. they played stupid and it was not like them to play like that. they probably deserved the cards and fouls and so did netherlands. portugal should know better and smarten up. what i'm pointing out is that everyone is going against portugal not realizing that other teams have played just as bad.
imo, the refs have been excellent this world cup and rarely make bad calls. all cards were red because the players have had previous yellows resulting in a red. accidental or not it is still a card. (he got a yellow and because of his previous one its a red).
and i can't believe i missed the ending of the italy vs aussie game. :mad: stupid people and they're problems. |

no its not a yellow when you're runnig in the front and a guy is running behind you and you cant even see him then you accidently hit the side of his face with an elbow without even knowing his there
like i said stop defending portugal. Figo was disgusting in that game and i hope italy/portugal get eliminated next. |

alright...whatever man, i'm defending portugal everytime because i'm portugese and biased and i think portugal does everything perfect and shouldn't be blamed for anything.:rolleyes:
but seriously, they should be playing better and i'm glad they can get to the quarter finals. thats all i expect of them to get to and thats it. if they beat england then good, if they don't then thats good enough. |
