Ah well. It sounds better when more people actually know the chants and sing together :p

I still get a kick out of the Dichio chants.

I just remembered that former Canadian international striker Tomasz Radzinski has been released by Fulham.

He's 33, but still has 1, maybe 2 yrs of good football left in him...
Though he's lost some pace, but very agile small forward able to get into channels and flanks to score goals.

Owen Hargreaves is also set to move to Man Utd from Bayern Munich .. too bad we couldn't trump that £17 million transfer fee lol

btw. this is a funny interview.. his accent is german-canadian-british if there is such thing..

It is now confirmed that Toronto F.C. or should I say Maple Leaf sports have traded Eskandarian.... Apparently it was a big surprise to him and he only got the news this morning ... I am told Maple Leaf Sports have a reputation for this type of stunt... In any case, no news yet on who Toronto are getting ... Speculation still about Radinski...

Ronaldo is being idolised over here now. the media have totally forgiven him as he's had a stunning season with the scum. Least he'll only be able to watch the champs league final where Liverpool will hopefully win for the english again.

Yeah, I'm really hoping. Liverpool aren't my team but I respect them which is more than I can say for man utd, arsenal, chelsea, spurs etc. Was away in spain during the last cl final of liverpool vs milan and it was mad, the spanish were dancing with us having such a good time, and we returned to the apartment complex & everyone was jumping in a freezing cold pool at nearly midnight, surreal experience though, even the security guard was smiling at us knowing we were just happy :D

Toronto FC acquires forward Jeff Cunningham in trade with Real Salt Lake
Club sends forward Alecko Eskandarian to RSL

Toronto FC announced Tuesday that they have traded forward Alecko Eskandarian to Real Salt Lake for forward Jeff Cunningham and a first round 2008 MLS SuperDraft pick.

Eskandarian joined Toronto FC December 22, 2006 after a trade with D.C. United.

"We've been after Cunningham for a long time," said Head Coach Mo Johnston. "For me, he's someone who has something different in this league. He has pace of probably the fastest striker within the league in terms of being right up front. He can create goals out of nothing, and it was something different that we needed."

Cunningham, 30, is a MLS veteran after joining the league in 1998 with the Columbus Crew when he was selected in the first round (9th overall) in the 1998 MLS College Draft.

Playing in his 10th MLS season, Cunningham already has 3 goals this season. He scored twice in RSL's season opener against Dallas, and his most recent goal came May 5th against Red Bull New York.

"Listen, Alecko is a tremendous player, he'll score goals in this league," said Head Coach Mo Johnston, "but when you look at someone like Cunningham, everyone pays a price, and unfortunately Alecko paid the price. Nine times out of ten you'll keep Alecko, but for me it was something we had to do."

The Jamaican born striker has scored 93 goals in MLS, a number that puts him fourth on the League's all-time scoring list. Last season Cunningham scored a career-best tying 16 goals, was named as an MLS MVP finalist and MLS Best XI team member, and received the Budweiser MLS Golden Boot Award.

His 11 assists were the second most in MLS in 2006, and he was a top ten finisher in a number of categories including game-winning goals, multi-game goals, and penalty kick goals.

Cunningham will sport number 74 on his jersey, a change from the number 90 he wore in Salt Lake.

Well, this Cunningham comes in with a pretty impressive resume

Apparently the media got hold of rumours of this thread through Facebook. LMAO
