Toronto FC acquires Jamaican international defender Tyrone Marshall from LA Galaxy for Edson Buddle.
This move does give more depth in the defence picking up a veteran with plenty of MLS experience while getting some value out of Buddle who frankly except for one game, didn't contribute much to Toronto and in the back of the preferred strikers.
Maybe Toronto will sign Radzinski to replace Buddle?
Well, whoever is GM for Toronto FC, he sure doesn't hesitate to pull the trigger on trades. |

Nothing like a good 4-0 asskicking to boost up the confidence before a really long road trip.
Could have been ugly for Toronto as first 20 mins or so, Toronto couldn't get anything going and Dallas had few chances to go up 1-0. Sloppy defending esp. on set plays gave those chances throughout the game.
Dallas just gave up by 2nd half though.
Cunningham missing a breakaway again. He must put away those. But at least he got a goal today.
Carl Robinson did nothing all game except for that open header for goal. He needs to do something, whether it be playing defensive midfielder or go up more. He's not getting himself involved in the game seriously.
I hope Dichio's ankle injury is not serious.
Both wingers had good game again, esp Welsh who seems to learned to not to do everything on his own and get his teammates more involved.
Offensively, I don't see why Toronto can't score 2 goals per game every game.
The Toronto keeper Djekanovic seems to look solid fundamentally, knowing when to come off the line, handles crosses well. He really hasn't been tested in his shot stopping skills though. |

My friends and I were discussing these exact points throughout and after the game.
Wishfully thinking our boys will do well on the road. |

reffing again though. I know I sound like a broken record but the offside call on our goal was disgusting. It wasn't a struck ball, it came off one of Dallas' defenders which automatically means it CANNOT be offside. Learn the ing rules, buddy!
Anyway, FABULOUS win again - AND my tan is golden. That season ticket wass the purchase of my life! I haven't missed a home game yet! |
