The use of french in some of our chants is intended more for MLS matches than the domestic cup games. As a bilingual country and the only truly professional football club in Canada we like to think we're representing Canada as a whole when we play in MLS, and in turn we use French in some of our chants. Whats so wrong with that, our country is steeped in french culture and heritage and tbh we're proud of it. However, obviously when we play montreal all the above in not applicable and its best to save those types of chants for league play.

except thats not what i said, if your going to use quotations at least source correctly.

Canada is more cultured than Americans partially due to our french heritage, and in MLS matches we make sure they know that with a couple french chants. Take that as a compliment if anything and stop trying to twist it into some anglo superiority complex. Goddam francophones.
notelfreak
if you or any other torontonian knows more french than allez allez allez and vouler vous coucher avec moi i'll eat my hat:p

who said i was a francophone, malek is though

"god damn francophones"

then stop chanting the god damn franco chants.

Just for the record, I NEVER join in with the french chant.

I'm English, we hate the French.
