Tomorrow is the exhibition game against Pachuca of Mexico
I have spare tickets if anyone would like to come - kick off is 7.30pm and the tickets are $25 each
Let me know
And yes, Carver was fuming at the boys on Sat - embarrassing for club management and fans alike! |

Toronto FC just offered Hakan Sukur a $4million contract :D
I hope that Toronto can bring the veteran striker. Although he is old and past his prime he is still a very experienced player.
- He was one of the top goal scorers for the Euro 2008 qualifications.
- Scored the fastest World Cup goal in history, 11 seconds
- Won the Uefa Cup with the most goals scored
Anyways, all I know is that if Sukur comes there is going to be a flock of Turkish people invading Toronto FC games lol... |

if this is true, with that kinda contract I believe he'll end up occupying our DP slot. not at the caliber of Becks by any means but hopefully he's got a couple more years left in the tank.
couple that with a trade for the rights to Brian McBride, I surely hope we can see a turnaround for the team, especially on the dreaded road .. omg

TORONTO — Toronto FC has finally landed its man.
The MLS team acquired forward Chad Barrett, a 2009 first round pick and future considerations on Wednesday for the rights to forward Brian McBride.
The deal had been rumoured for more than a week.
"First, I would like to thank all parties involved in getting this done," Toronto FC manager Mo Johnston said in a statement. "The real winners in this deal are MLS, the Chicago Fire, Toronto FC, and Brian McBride.
"The Fire has brought back a wonderful striker and we're getting in return, a promising young striker as well as a first round draft pick. It was important that we received the No. 1 pick in this deal and hopefully it will serve us well in the future."
The 23-year-old Barrett has five goals and four assists in 16 games this season. He joined Chicago straight out of college in 2005.
McBride announced in May that he was leaving Fulham after four years with the English club. Toronto used the highest spot in the allocation ranking to acquire the 36-year-old U.S. international.

Search for Chad Barrett vids on youtube and you might cry a bit ;)
On lighter note, Barrett is young (23 vice McBride's 36) and is going to play for a team where he'll get all the service in the world from the midfield.
And hopefully he can finish better than that no effort **** Cunningham. Even Carver rips into Cunny now.
Rumour is that Mo Johnston is working on another striker soon... Front runner seems to be former Man City striker Paul Dickov. (If that happens, TFC will have two dicks... Dickov and Dichio. Haha) |
