What an absolutely horrendous display yesterday...
Danny got owned upfront in the first half and our defending was horrible. Frei kept us in it or it couldnt have easily been much worse.
Frei and Cronin were our only bright spots, and Barrett did well to take that cross, but as was said earlier anybody could have converted from 6 yards out from a ball placed so precisely. IMO DeRo looked outta it when he came on at half, couldn't get it going and made several errant passes that easily gave up possession. I don't know wtf is up with Guevara but I'm getting tired of seeing him aimlessly give away possession, then walk his ass back instead of covering up, it's only when he's playing for Honduras that he seems to bring it every game, and that's not acceptable. Even Jimmy B had a horrendous match, very out of character for him.
However, we're still first in the East, and a bad game is expected from time to time. I'm sure Carver will rip into them and hopefully they'll have their heads together for Wednesday. |
