yeah for sure, europe is clearly his first choice, and you can't blame him at all really.

Rach has he impressed you that much at the Gold Cup, for me he's been solid, but not spectacular in any regards.

Still, I'd love for us to pull this off. I only hope that him coming in doesnt leads to Robbos exit, ing love him.

I haven't watched poppet, I am jsut repeating what I have heard.

I am getting increasingly frustrated with the fact that even though the offer is now out in the open, he is still shooting his mouth off that he would rather go to Europe. I don't blame him for thinking it, I just wish he wasn't saying it.

yeah i hear ya..
imo we'll find out soon enough, once the gold cup finishes up, he'll weight out all his offers and make his decision. If he doesn't get anything concrete from a reputable mid-high table club from one of the big three European leagues, i think its a safe bet he'll be coming home. Time will tell, but if we do manage to bring him in, we'll still have problems i think. Sure our midfield will be arguably the best in the league, but upfront we'll be weak, if consistency continues to fall short. Maybe White will be answer to all our questions, but still a lot to ask from a youngster with no top level experience. so many questions so few answers unfortunately.

I dunno if forwards is weak, but more of a question mark

Gerba has been lighting it up for Canada lately (5 goals in 4 games) and from what I've seen, he's been that finisher we've been looking for (his last two goals in Gold Cup are pure instinctive poacher efforts).
I dont think most CONCACAF nations are worse than most MLS teams, but comparable, if not better

O'Brien White by all reports have a killer instinct as a striker and his college record supports this. If White is half good as rest of top rookie strikers this year (Pontius and Zakuani), he'd be a good addition

add in few goals from Dichio, Vitti and Barrett, plus whatever Guevara and DeRo brings in, TFC offence is in decent shape IMO

it's the defence that still needs work.

Important announcement from BMO Field
Stadium alcohol service suspension date set

BMO Field announced Monday that there will be a suspension in alcohol service at the venue on Saturday, July 18 during the Toronto FC versus Houston Dynamo match.
The suspension, issued by Ontario's Alcohol and Gaming Commission (AGCO), results from a violation of Section 30(4) of the Liquor Licence Act, which makes it an offence to permit a person appearing to be under 19 years of age to consume or possess alcohol on the premises. The incident occurred on May 21, 2008.

"The incident was regrettable, but we agreed with the AGCO that the consumption of alcohol by minors cannot be tolerated and we accept the suspension. We take this matter very seriously and will continue to work closely with the AGCO and its representatives to ensure that the sale and service of alcohol at BMO Field is conducted both professionally and responsibly," said Bob Hunter, executive vice- president of Venues and Entertainment for Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd.

BMO Field is managed by Maple Leafs Sports & Entertainment Ltd., on behalf of the Board of Governors of Exhibition Place.

Fans attending the Toronto FC versus Houston Dynamo game are encouraged to arrive early to ensure they are able to get through multiple security checkpoints and to their seats on time prior to kickoff. Gates will open at 11:30 a.m. Game time is 1 p.m.
