Just got to Trudeau, about to board a return flight to Toronto and ING BUZZING!!!
Honestly, i won't even touch on the negative aspects of the performance, today is truly a joyous occasion for all supporters of our club.
Heading into Montreal knowing you need to win by 4 in order to advance is a tall order, but going down 1-0 via penalty inside 10 mins is next to impossible. DeRo stood up to be counted and brought us back to life @ 1-1, then before i knew it we're up 2-1. I was a bit worried seeing Barrett come on but obviously all if forgiven :P. Guevara showed truly showed us what he's capable and my god that free kick to put us 4-1 up was a thing of beauty, perfectly struck absolutely zero chance for the keeper. Then with 8 mins left, needing only one more goal to advance, Barrett pops up with what I can only call the most crucial goal is TFC history, INSTANT LEGEND, all is forgiven, i will passionately defend you or the rest of your time here after popping up with that. TOP ING DRAWER. Impact fans are little big time wannabess, the biggest game of the year and your stadium is less that 1/3 full, and us TFC Road Warriors drowned out your usl amateur francophone chants for 90 mins in your own ground. Atmosphere in our section was absolutely rediculous all night, i fell into the row below me celebrating Barratts goal and was fully covered in beer by the time I finally got outta stadium. the Impact, Vancouver, We're the pride of Canada. Gotta board my flight, 10am midterms after away games, godbless tethering. TORONTO TILL I DIE |
