when the MLSE exclusivity deal (anti-competition) expires with MLS, we need another Toronto based MLS team. Upper Canada FC anyone?

My thoughts about yesterdays performance....
with the exception of Serioux we're ING RUBBISH at the back. |
Serioux is a rock at the back, and Brennan is generally solid, but he hurt himself halfway through the match, and with Wynne gone for international duty, there were some gaping holes.

not even one ing goal.

Nuff said.

Barrett works his ass off |
Which is more than we can say for a lot of the team, but he doesn't even have the conditioning for it. He has one of his "calf leg strains" at the 75-80th minute of every game.
That being said, he does make his own chances. The reason why he gets those chances (however ineffective he might be at converting them) is because he creates them with hustle. But again, if he doesn't finish, it sure isn't worth a whole heck of a lot.

Dichio is the exception here, we'd be ed without him, but if nobody is going to run onto his knockoffs then really what the s he good for.
|
Its not Dichio's fault...its TERRIBLE tactics. The long balls constantly up to Dichio do NOT work. Its only when the team starts moving the ball on the ground is there any threat at all. Its frustrating to watch it time and time again.

Velez is rubbish, send him back to Puerto Rico, let him play USL if he can even get a spot.
|
This is pretty much one of your only points that I'll take a stand against. Velez is definitely in the upper echelon of players that we have available to us. I find myself applauding his efforts more times than not. He's (usually) consistent, but clearly had an off game last night.
Please give us a DP. FFS. |

Velez would be ok, if he was more consistent
even serioux was e on sat though |

for real cuisine there's a few places, but not that many compared to the fast food joints.
You gotta let me know next time you're in town. |

because they put in a friendly? I can think of many reasons why I'm not happy with MLSE, but this one isn't it. Though moving the Red Bulls game to this Sat does annoy me.
People would be ticked off if TFC didn't play any of the major Euro teams at all. Can't satisfy everyone I guess |
