what will the protesting in belgrade accomplish, what will the burning and defacing of U.S., Croatian, and Slovenian embassies do for Serbia? it certainly wont bring Kosovo back. but it certainly makes you guys look the bad guys you're claiming not to be, i'm just saying that needs to stop. there are other ways to protest.
*edit: i withdraw my previous statement in this post, after thinking, "what if someone had taken a part of croatia away from us"

well yeah, but when you call someone kurac...i interpret it as , but if you say something like "Kurac me boli" then its just dick.
it makes sense in croatian but when translated into english, in that context, i think it almost has to be translated to to make proper sense.

I would love to turn your words around and exchange a few Croats with Serbs, and a few places and so on. Neither of us were angels, and there is a lot of in the past in BOTH of our histories. You really should have just kept your mouth shut about this one, because you really do no justice to your heritage.
An idiot for speaking the truth eh?
I'm just saying it as it was back then!
I have Serb friends too, agree to disagree jebate!

I _am_ Russian. I read Russian news daily. I like Canada, but hey, a part of me is Russian.
So on that note. Countries that recognize Kosovo:
No/Minor Internal Conflict - by this I mean no civil unrest related to separation of a part of a country into it's own state. General gang warfare/Taliban/what have you not included.
AFGHANISTAN
ALBANIA
AUSTRALIA
AUSTRIA
BRITAIN - re: ireland, scotland. this crap had subsided. Dont tell me it's anywhere NEAR the level of killing and murder, than that of Chechnya and Kosovo.
FRANCE
GERMANY
ITALY
NORWAY
TURKEY
UNITED STATES
Expected:
Belgium, Luxembourg, Slovenia, Sweden, Ireland, Denmark, Finland, Bulgaria, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Hungary.
NONE, no countries on the list above have any SERIOUS problems. By serious I mean death, murder, fighting, guns (with a much older exception of UK)
You said countries supporting kosovo had no separatist movements, i said you were dead wrong, and still is. Now you try to play the violence card and again you are somewhat wrong... Turkey has a major internal conflict with Kurds, they actually even invaded another sovereign country because of that (iraq).
France have routine terrorist attacks because of the Corse separatist movments (we don't even hear about it anymore here) and they have to deal with it, look here 19th of feb another explosion going off in Corse http://corse.france3.fr/info/39887457-fr.php
If you had been following the news, you would know Belgium is on the verge of imploding because of the flemmish minority and chronic constitutional instability in this (sorry belgians) failed state.
Afghanistan, well...no war there right?
There will be a referendum in Scotland in regards to its future inside the UK.
Even Germany (Bavaria) and Italy (Padania) have their own minor separatist movments.
Most of the countries against separation like your dear Russia and China, have poor democratic records (if at all) and have built their nation (empires?) on one conquest after the other. Obviously it doesn't make sense for Russia to let its minority hundred or so ethnicities to speak out and proclaim independance because alot of that rich soil would be gone from under the control of Moscow.
At the end, evil tree is right, Russian or Chinese recognition doesn't really matter, most important countries have already recognized it, and all it takes is some back door deals in the future (5-10-15 years, does it really matter?) to get Russia and others to eventually recognize Kosovo.
Israel isn't unversally recognized, but that doesn't stop them from being a valid state.
edit to complete my thought: Russia is extremly hypocrit because she endorses separatism in neighbouring countries (Georgia with South Ossetia and Abkhazia, Moldova with Trans-Dniester) while ethnicly cleansing chechens in chechenia... I don't think any country has any lessons to learn from your mother Russia, especially not about minorities.

i wish i caught this thread earlier, but "Tiesto Sux", i think you should check your emotions before you start to speak for the rest of us, your comments have done more harm than good, and frankly I'm a little embarrassed as a Serb after reading your posts
its shameful whats happened to our country, but whats important now is how we deal with it..emotional outbursts will do us no good, we have to speak with a clear unified voice, and be persistent in our resolve
the eyes of the world are upon us, again.
