Serbia is SOOO INSIGNIFICANT in the world today its funny.. they cant even get into the european union. Also, i know that serbians HATE people from Kosovo (among other people like croatians, bosnians, the list goes on,,, they hate everyone), so why do they care if Kosovo is independent from serbia?? A normal country would want independece from their enemy.... Not serbia, they bitch about the fact instead.

I kept away just because Im American... and because I really don't know what to think about the situation besides what I've heard from B.. [meaning I havent heard the official US standpoint and don't feel like reading this whole thread]

haha i dont know much about the situation cuz i could give a about politics... and i do respect all people regardless of where they are from/race/colour but a LOT of serbians do think VERY highly of themselves for ... well... no apparent reason... always FIGHTING and bitching and ranting on about everything like they own the planet and everything on it. so i dont totally disagree with this guy at all. and turks are arabs.. noones gonna tell me they arent..(Nominally, 99.8% of the Turkish population is Muslim, mostly Sunni, and 0.2% is Other, mostly Christians and Jews [5].) |

I haven't done much reading I geeve because i have yet to hear an Albanian perspective as there aren't too many i know, so i cannot give a fair judgment at face value through from the actual country ppl...

meh.. true! .. but .. i dunno man . being from eastern europe... when i go there.. most of it now is so urbanized and developed.. EVERYTHING revolves around money lol. i went this year.. all the girls look the same pretty much.. i mean.. theyre sexy but to me the biggest turnoff no matter how good looking a girl is .. is when shes full of herself. and thats what its becoming dude! recently... South American girls FTW. most know how to appreciate the value of a relationship and not just $$ .. AND IM NOT saying all eastern european girls are bad.. i know ill get bombarded by a few if i do.. i just noticed a certain trend when i went to poland now vs when i went to poland last yr and the yr before and the yr before.. i see what direction its goin in

The move paves the way for Kosovo to take over from the UN mission which has administered the disputed territory since the end of its 1998-1999 conflict.
The EU will be helping to oversee independence with a 2,000-strong police supervisory mission in Kosovo.
Kosovo's declaration of independence in February has been recognised by almost 40 countries, including the US and most of the EU.
But Russia has stood by its traditional ally, Serbia, in opposing the move.
The charter adoption comes as UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon makes an official visit to Moscow. Kosovo is likely to be high on the talks agenda.
