I've seen enough documentaries. The fact that you have to realize is that the Palestinians have developed a nasty image for themselves by way of the tactics they use. Also, Israel develops most of its military technology on its own. In fact, some may say Israeli technology is the best in the world. Most modern advances in Israel's military have been developed internally. In fact, Israel sells weapons systems to the United States and to other militaries. Anyway, that is totally a side topic.
And by making the statement you made just now, you're basically addmitting that the Palestinians send suicide bombers just because they feel like they are under threat, not necessarily because they are. Do you remember how the second intifada started? When Ariel Sharon visited the Dome of the Rock. His visit, whuich was a respectful one, thank you very much, enraged them so much that they felt a need to stage another uprising. I'm sorry but that is unreasonable.
And you say that because I smoke weed I sould see the truth. Well I see the truth, more clearly than you it seems to me. I keep admitting that the Israeli side is WRONG WRONG WRONG in what it does but you on the other hand cannot find it in yourself to fault the Palestinians one single bit. Will news flash: until you do your argument is pointless. And yes it's the Palestinian's fault for havging walls built around the, If they weren't so aggressive, a fact you cannot possibly deny, then Israel would not have to be aggressive towards them.
As for denying my claim that there never was a Palestine until after the formal declaration of the independence of the State of Israel, you are clearly showing how little you know. Do you even realize that much of Palestine was UNINAHABITABLE before the Jews got there? The whole area was swamplands, the Jews came in, laboured and made the area habitable. Tel-Aviv was a sand dune for god's sake, you think the Arabs would have ever taken the initiative to build a city of its magnitude?
I always liked to say that a major cause for frustration among the Arab world and especially the Palestinians is jealousy. They know they could nevwer have done with that land what the Jews have done. I'm sorry I know I am offto pic but I felt like expressing this.
What upsets me is that you think you have such a crystal understanding of the issue at hand. Even I don't know close to everything and I guarantee that you are in the same situation, if not worse.
It has become very easy to paint Israel as an aggressor in the past few years. There certainly saeems to have been a movement building up that condemns its actions. Good I say, because Israel deserves some downward pressure and a reality check. But when these same people go into areas with which they are unfamiliar, and start to say things they do not REALLY know, I get somewhat angry. |

As far as sending in Canadian troops I completely oppose. There is no sense in sending in innocent men and women when both sides lack the basic respect for each other. You want peace then stop taking sides and listen to each other and respect each other. Stop trying to place blame on each other and figure out how to fix it.
Everyone needs to take responsiblity for their actions and learn to live in peace. |

If we all did that then there wouldn't be much communication going on in the world.
I feel for those on both side that are just trying to live their lives in peace and have to deal with this on a daily basis.
Nothing being said on this website is going to change a damn thing there. We cannot stop the war from Tranceaddict...although I think some people think they can. If you want to make a difference then provide us with information that will allow us to contribute to the cause....not just one sided news articles that spew propaganda |
