Do you honestly think MILLIONS of Jews should just get up and leave after all these years? Even the whites weren't told to get out of South Africa when apartheid was done. All i hear from you is justification for what is happening....does it matter who is at fault at this point? the two sides in this thread are so focused on pointing fingers that they are losing focus on what is going on...we are supposed to be a socially conscious generation..or at least i thought we were....put aside the jewish/muslim issue ..forget that you are jewish....and realize that what the government of israel is doing is WRONG and they should have to be held accountable for their actions...they are bombing everything in sight and making excuses..the world isn't buying it..
You may be angry for the injustices your people have suffered..but realize that your people are now making the palestinians suffer...and i'm sorry but i am not going to sugar coat it or excuse it..i think the government of israel is MESSED up...and I am angry...you can't tell those of us that are angry that we are wrong and misinformed..the Turks acted that way cuz they are hurting for their brothers and sisters..they are angry..and they have a right to be...you have no right to call them out....they have every right to be upset..... |

The thing is noone here thinks that its the fault of an avg israeli citizen that this is taking place we all know that hamas is the bad guy on the palestine side.....BUT what we are all angry about is how the GOVT I will repeat that its the "Govt" of Israel that is making all Israelis look like the bad guys here ..... even more bad than hamas.......Thats why people around the world are blood hungry for their blood and they arent safe...........Its the poor decisions made by the Israeli Govt that will bring bad things for them and there people around the world in the future.
Just a lil fact that 1.5 million<6 million .......They have created more hate for them in the past days for themselves around the world then they have ever created.Do you even think that suppose Israel stops the attacks today and give them there land back and things go back to normal how they were before this conflict these people will forget everything ........Good luck these people will fight till there last breath and Israel has gotten itself in much deeper then it was in before and this time not just in palestine but around the world. |

Bottom line is, this is a never ending vicious circle of an argument, which came first, the chicken or the egg? Both sides are getting different sources of news, each points at the other as lies. Bottom line is, both Jews and Arabs live on this piece of land called Israel. Peace is the only way, not violence. Israelis want peace, & have always wanted peace, but they are surrounded on all sides by enemies at all times. On many occasions they have offered peace deals, and they were always rejected. After 60 yrs of 'occupation' it is unrealistic to think all the Israelis will just up and leave. What do you propose the solution is??
Is Israel a perfect place? No. Do they make mistakes? Yes, plenty. Israel is a new country, only 60 yrs old, and there's bound to be growing pains. Every country has them starting out. Believe it or not, there are plenty of injustices within different Jewish factions, there's racism/ favoritism depending on what part of the world you come from (sephardic vs ashkenzi), and you should SEE how they treated the last settlers that wouldn't take the payout and leave Gaza and had to be forcibly removed from their homes (whom I had no sympathy for).
But you cant say you just want the 'zionists out/dead/suffering'- 99% of Israelis and Jews are zionist, in the simple sense that they are pro-Israel/ love Israel, or have been born there. That does not mean they are anti-Arab, pro-setting up settlements in arab areas (like Gaza before), or pro-pushing the Palestinians out.
But please, dont justify what is happening to Jews around the world (or what happened at the basketball game) because they're mad at whats happening to their muslim brothers- that doesnt make it 'right'. Why should that behavior be acceptable? Weren't the basketball players 'average Israeli citizens', as you said? It doesn't justify attacking people that have nothing to do with it. Enough innocents are hurt already on both sides. Would Muslims like it if vigilante Jews went and burned down mosques in New Jersey or beat a muslim man walking down the street in London every time a suicide bomber went off and hurt a 'Jewish brother'? It just doesn't happen. There was 1 occurance of (Jewish) retaliation, by an isolated man, and I think Jews around the world were mortified that 1 of ours could do such a thing, and they all spoke out against it. Again, FAR worse atrocities have happened in the world in recent years and continue today as have been mentioned (look at all the conflicts in Africa, where people are hacked to death, mothers, daughters and even babies gang raped, where kids are given drugs and guns and made into killing machines, where tens of thousands are killed and left to rot in the open), and no army goes in there to help, no one gets on their chair and screams, points fingers, calls names, or gets into shouting wars online w/Darfurians. But when something happens in Israel that people dont like, a wave of these verbal & physical attacks against Jews happen around the world, that is a fact. And that just proves to you that no matter what, Jews are always going to be hated, by someone or another, for 1 reason or another, just like they always have been since the beginning of time, whether we have our own land or not.

seriously, just stop..i couldn't even get through what you wrote..you just go on and on about how the Jews are mistreated, misunderstood...blah..blah..blah..and i have never invited you to debate any of the you're bringing up...this is not about religion to me..it's about a government that is acting unjustly..aggressively and in a manner that is unacceptable to millions on this planet..for you to talk about "what is happening to Jews around the world" shows that you dont' have your finger on the pulse of anything that is currently happening..all your doing is pushing a religious agenda....
the jewish basketball players were not attacked..they actually had shoes thrown at them and were escorted off the court....you can cry about such an incident against your people but when we cry about the murder of women and children, you get your panties in a bunch and justify it..but when i justify the anger of those Turks, you get all upset......the difference is...israel can be backed by the big bad US...they have friends in high places...the paletinians on the other hand have no one...maybe a few million angry folk around the world screaming for them isn't too bad..cuz i gurantee you right now..there are hundreds of thousands of palestinians screaming right now "where is the world and why is no one helping us" don't blame the Turks for the anger..blame the government of israel for their actions..do you expect the world to not react to this stuff!?
