Sorry for wasting everyone's time with my so called extreme views, I just feel that nothing I can say is going to be taken seriously here. The discussion is far too shallow, I had hoped we could really delve into the real problems and issues for once.
If anyone is interested in knowing more, or wanting to know how they can help, please PM me. There was a protest a couple days ago that you have missed, but if you'd like to join my friend's (shes helping with it) online petition against the bombings of Gaza follow this link:
http://www.avaaz.org/en/gaza_time_f...62018857&v=2606
The petition I believe was only opened yesterday.
I hope you guys can sympathize with the situation a bit, and take it easy with your views. Help stop the occupation. I hope you realize that Israeli war plans are still dropping bombs on civilians as I type this.

Anas, I really can appreciate what you're trying to do here..it seems that you have a lot of knowledge and an actual idea of what he is going on in this world..but..when it comes to this debate..i find that people only want to deal from a position of emotion and not hard facts..it's pointless to try to change the minds of certain types of people.....i know i have tried to "enlighten" people in the past..and a lot of them looked at me as if i was crazy...and i quickly learned that there are some people who will go through life being fed a certain type of reality..
people have their own realities....and to them these realities are a source of comfort..many people in this world truly don't want to turn off CNN or FOX ...they don't want to discover their own truths..they want to be fed..the one thing we all have is the ability and free will to feed our minds.....and it is so sad to see that there masses of people who choose to not take up the opportunity to learn...
these comments are not directed at those who can debate this issue with facts...it's directed at those who basically spew out what they have heard from CNN/FOX..etc...
that's the end of my rant..

Watched a few of the conspiracy videos. Anas, you need to stop declaring that you're trying to help us see the truth, and start posting the truth as you see it. No more videos put together with construction paper and VHS tapes, and no more dodging direct questions. Then you might convince people of your views.
Loved your "Ring of Power" video, but unfortunately, gluing pictures and names onto construction paper isn't exactly fulfilling the burden of proof. In that video it also declares that there is not 'one shred of evidence' of a King David ever existing, but a quick google search led me to three different articles about evidence unearthed in 1993(!!!). Specifically, tablets inscribed with "House of David" and "King of Israel" dated to around 10th century bce.
Given that the video made such an obvious, and easy to discredit error. I find it hard to believe many, if not all of the claims made in that video.
I was also unimpressed with your video about the Israel lobby. I don't find that it supports your argument at all, except to say that, indeed, America has a very powerful Israel lobby. Simply because a powerful lobby exists doesn't mean that Hamas and the Palestinians are innocent of the atrocities that they have committed.
The final video that I spent time watching was "Mind Control" to which I ask. So what? That video has NOTHING to do with the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, and everything to do with horrible actions undertaken during the Cold War.
Given that your videos are either fabricated conspiracy nonsense, or completely irrelevant to the topic at hand, and given that you've been unable to directly answer a single question posed to you within this thread, except to claim your disappointment, sorrow within, the questioner's ignorance/knowledge, and finally, given your inability to comprehend that Hamas/Palestine have committed their own atrocities, I put to you that you know NOTHING about this conflict, and until you prove otherwise, will continue to believe so.
PS: This time, please do better than construction paper and VHS tapes |

Seriously can you really be that stuborn? The "real problem" is that you still can't get passed your own biased view. Forget about the so called occupation don't you get it your stuborness is your downfall.
The fact is both sides will never get what they want. I don't think that either the jews nor the palestinians get this. Your both hell bent on killing each other instead of realizing that the only solution is learning to live in peace. Neither of the parties has the sense to think is all this killing worth it? Who cares who was there first or who the land belongs to. Your faith and prejudices have led you to your demise. Only the dead see the end of war.
I don't even want to begin to get on the topic of religion. The truth is you both have some growing up to do.
It is sad that in this day in age there is so much senseless violence. I feel sorry for the young that are born into this stupidity and have to suffer.
Anas your still a kid so hopefully there is hope for you. Your views are misguided and your superiority complex is sad. As much as you think you know you need to keep your ego in check. Believe me you have alot to learn.
Since you like quotes so much I'll leave you with this one from one my favorite philosophers.
A smart man is a man who knows he is ignorant.
1. point for knowing who it is but no googling. ;)
I only hope that all this killing will end and that one day you both can live in peace. Put your difference aside and learn compassion.
Stop trying to convince others who is right and teach tolerance and love.
Get it! |

Yea the Isreal lobby vid has pratically nothing to do with the debate. It just talks about the influence of the Isreal lobby group on the american polititians, really.
Gonna watch the other ones as well. |

"Never miss a good chance to shut up."
I like the fact that between all the hurled insults, a few substantiated counter-arguments are refined. Good job
Yes yes we all need to grow up... how anyone could have missed such a viable peachy resolution is beyond me. Well peace is always the only solution isn't it.
On the other hand, I don't believe anyone at any point questioned whether the prospect of peace was cause worthy. The points of conflict are a) occupation, b) provocation and c) proportionality of force. Sure these trickled down into minute sub-argument, often dismissing what the debate is/should actually be about… but to discharge the exchange in its entirety and preach unity is preposterous as it avoids any of the issues at hand. As someone said, too much blood has been shed – let’s construct the path towards harmony (easier said than done) rather than declaring the end and evading the means. |
