Listen, Israel would've stopped LONG ago, if Hamas stopped firing rockets. This is how ridiculous Hamas is- they claim they are trying to 'free their people', but they're ruining their lives. Anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together would see after just 1 day of Israeli retaliation they would know they are outnumbered and outstrengthened. So what do they do? Keep firing at the big dogs, which only results in more retaliation, more deaths and more destruction (and the devastation is AWFUL!). Hamas is sacrificing their own people for what? Their rockets are no comparison to Israel's weaponry, yet they wont stop or surrender. Whats the big picture here? They are willing to sacrifice their own people, the Palestinians, at any cost, just to make Israel look bad? Incite World War 3? Hypothetically speaking, lets just say if Iran were to send over a nuke to Israel, think there wouldn't be any Palestinian casualties? Think again. But I bet you all those Arab neighbors won't say a peep about Palestinian civilian casualties if that were to happen, right?
Lets just remember folks, that Hamas has fired over 3000 rockets in 2008 alone, and Israel never fired back and repeatedly asked them to stop. You can only get away with it for so long before someone hits back. But does the UN hold 'emergency sessions' to deal with Hamas firing at Israel? No. Have they ever held one to bring the topic of suicide bombers to light? No. But if Israel defends itself, 'how dare they, those animals!'
And people say this has nothing to do with antisemitism? Bull! Why are Jews around the world (Israeli or not), who have nothing to do with this, being attacked, shops and synagogues being vandalised? Why was Israel's basketball team running for their lives when they went to play a match in Turkey, Turkish fans were out for blood? (and Israelis probably make up for a large portion of Turkey's tourism, aint no Turks coming to Israel, so Israeli's may want to take their business elsewhere after that). But when a suicide bomber hits, or a rocket hits in Israel, do Jews in Israel or around the world go and attack Muslims or mosques, or businesses? NEVER. And dont try and paint it as 'anti-zionism'- this is full blown antisemitism at its best.

First of all, I said the Israeli army/government is at fault "as well". I sympathized with both sides especially when innocent people die, but in this conflict; Israel went too far!!!.
I'm really sick of the more powerful/resourceful countries thinking they can do what ever they want and then justifying themselves saying that they did no wrong.
ex.
Turkey and Armenia
USA and Irag/others
Nazis and the Jews
Israel (army/government, not the people) and Palestine
China and Tibet
etc...
oh and FYI I'm not religious at all!!! I believe is GOD but I could care less about Islam, Christianity, Judaism since I think they're all BS!!
The only outcome that'll follow is a major storm brought on by a lot of really pissed off people. |

No. Israelis and Jews are not out for the annihilation of Palestinians, or their surrounding Arab neighbors what-so-ever. Get that into your head already. some of the people in this thread are utterly disgusting individuals...i hope that none of you ever have to go through half of what these people are going through...and if you did..as much of a bleeding heart as i am..i don't think i would really care...that's how disgusted feel...just say already that you hate the palestinians because of your religious affiliation and stop in trying to argue that you are on the side of RIGHT.
i guess it's great news that israel bombed the UN relief agency..but of course it was justified cuz there was a dude there, that knew a dude..who knew a dude..who had a cousin that was a part of Hamas...it's so sickening.. |

Look who's talking!!! Probably one of the most narrow-minded people on this forum. If u read my earlier posts u'd know that I was neutral and had sympathy for both sides until the Israeli army started killing hundreds of INNOCENT people; there's no call for that.
There's even numeruous rabbis and other fellow Jews who agree with me.
What they have to deal with??? Try being isolated in a small area along with 1.5 million people where resources are scarce and u have to watch others starve and on top of that, people are being murdered left right and centre. Is that how u wanna live ur life or r u going to do something to change it? sound familiar??? read what the Nazis did to the Jews when they were placed against their will in the "ghetto"!!!

Again, I dont know where you're getting this. Pretty much EVERY Israel supporter here has said they feel awful for the Palestinians, that it is Hamas that has gotten them into this war, how horrible it is that there are civilian casualties. No Israeli supporter here hates them.
But the hardliner pro-Palestinians in this thread (and I just mean the hardliners) have not once laid any blame on Hamas, or said Israel deserves a right to exist, or has ever said a word about peace. Do you honestly think MILLIONS of Jews should just get up and leave after all these years? Even the whites weren't told to get out of South Africa when apartheid was done. They have to learn to get along, end of story. |
