every time I go into the gym I bust my ass. I can run 3 miles and not really sweat, but in the gym ill be sitting there growling and ripping into machines and dripping sweat.
I used to get drunk every single night for like 9 months, but now its mostly once a week or so, if that. I just have a lot of fun when I drink, so i can make do with a little alcohol and little motivation in that dept. Last night was slightly out of hand :p |
ah ok,thanks for clarifying.. I dont drink much myslef. |

| yeah, i usually buy beer thats 8 bucks a bottle so I CANT have alot. I really only have a beer or two with my dinner as im watching movies. Working out and being active makes me feel too good to get really sloshed, and the prospect of being hungover and not feeling like doing something ative bugs the out of me. I stopped hanging out with some of my friends recently, because all they do is drink and I dont really like to party that hard any more. |

can't afford gym etc at the moment but i bought some push up bars/stands and use them with my feet raised of the ground. i've worked out that if i use them really far apart, it's quite good for my pecs and i've worked out if u have them really close it focuses more on my biceps/arms
Normally, i use the bars so they are in line with my shoulders, what difference would it make if I use them so my hands are higher above my shoulders and also if i was to use them lower down so are more in line with the upper part of my stomach.
Any suggestions? Does it work out slightly different areas?
Many thanks. |
The lower your hand position the more it is going to effect your lower chest. The higher, your upper chest - especially if you are inclining your feet.
If you are really brave you can even do a handstand on the bars (balance yourself with feet against a wall) and do shoulder presses. That's an intense exercise! Moving your body weight in that position isnt easy. |

i found i have no more taste for alcohol after dating maryj. the benefits are far out better. she can be cooked too to your liking. Milk her to gather those precious juices. Sex her up and get her in the mood by blazing her with fire or heat
if you're lucky you can get her in bubblegum and mango flavor. even pinesol if you're into pine trees. heheh
one thing I lke about her is the fatter she becomes the more there is to love. *ching *ching

Sweet! I'm all for risking uneccessary injury while I could be doing exercises that are more effective and less death-defying! Thanks for the tip!:wtf: |

Yeah because there are tons of exercises out there that isolate your shoulders using BODYWEIGHT AND PUSH-UP BARS ONLY.
edit: By saying 'isolate your shoulders' I mean shoulders = primary muscle group trained, all other muscles = secondary |

Well my advice, for what it's worth  , would be for no one to ever do what you just told that guy to try. The risk of injury is too high in my mind. But whatever. Try it out if you want, i'm not the boss of you. Just remember what I said when you're at the doctor because of a shoulder subluxation or something similar. |

So there's the root of your problem! Overly expensive beer! Try dogs!

Hint: after a good night of drinking, take a few aspirins before going to bed or passing out and you don't get the hangover...

Shoulder subluxation. This exercise is no more stressful on your shoulders than doing a military press with dumbells or a barbell. The only risk involved in this exercise is balancing yourself, hence my suggestion to use a wall. |
