| After 3 months in a cast for a broken leg it only took me another 3 or so to be back to where I was before. Your brain seems to remember where you were and stimulates your growth back into that image hehe. |

Just got out of plaster the other week after breaking my left wrist and severely fracturing my right wrist. They told me not to do weights for a month out of plaster so I'll stick to that. I was just wondering if anyone else has had similar injuries and then returned to weight training. I've lost a 1.5cm round my left bicep and most of my left forearm has wasted away and my right has round the wrist. Will this come back quickly or will it be forever slightly smaller. As a swimmer I'm slim as well (6ft, 75kg, but I was 65kg before starting weights) and my left forearm now looks really skinny and my right looks really skinny around the wrist. Just wondering how anyone who had similar injuries worked themselves back to normal strength and how quickly it took really. |
if all you lost was a 1.5cm around your arm...that doesn't sound too bad. i take my measurements in inches so cm's ain't that much
orbax...that sucks man. my friend is the same way with the injuries. hopefully it doesn't bug your ass for a long as time. |

| I know it doesn't sound much but because I'm naturally lanky my arms haven't really bulked much and you can now notice a size difference between my arms. |

The thing is I COULD still lift...in fact I was for a while. The excitement of being back into the 90s and im thinking in a month or so Ill be hitting the 100s, I just kept pushing. But I havent been able to do any boxing for about 3 weeks now because the wrist just isnt healing because of the weights...
Being the well rounded individual I like to be :D I decided to stop lifting until wrist felt good enough to box :(
ah well, ive been running a lot and made a lot of cash recently doing some stuff I wouldnt normally do because Id be in the gym and then tired after that hehe.
Plus got a tan now, woot. |

| In highschool I used to detail cars and stuff so I know how. I can detail a car with a wash and wax in about 2 hours. Offered to do it for some people and it got around. 100 bucks a detail, good deal for both of us. I was pretty proud too, the cars looked and smelled ing new. The people were so happy, they keep calling me and telling me how much they like their cars hehe. |

Muscle memory. Growth may not appear as fast as strength returns, though. |
