People will always have varying opinions and results, but it has been proven that fat reserves are not used no matter what type of cardio you are doing until ~20 minutes in.
And I'm talking about 80-85%, not just walking on a flat treadmill for an hour. A treadmill on the highest incline is a great source of cardio.
Edit: Just saw their experiment. The results are impressive, but it was only used with 17 individuals and no control group. =\ And they changed the intervals of exercise, after starting with a measly 30 minutes. |

agreed, that is why its best to deplete all glucose energy first then get to cardio if you can, but its a bitch... |

| damn, nice improvment. i didnt get a chance to read the whole thread, but i was wondering i am 5'8 and weigh 180 should i lose weight first then start working muscles? ive been pretty big my whole life and i want to do something about it now. thanks |

well...no offense, but i know what 195lbs of muscle looks like and that's not it. there is no doubt that he's made improvement, but that is not 30lbs of muscle he added...
he does have some pretty crazy abs though |

well according to his journal he has maintained something like 4% body fat, from the start, so i dunno |

semi cutt..but not bulky :crazy: i lost 20 lbs since last summer by going to the gym, but the only improment ive seen is my arms and legs. my upper body is still flabby though :( maybe too much beer thanks though |
