CAN'T WAIT TILL JUNE 9...ALREADY HAVE 4 Tickets 2 for group A and 2 For Group D...HOPEFULLY POLAND, WHERE I AM FROM WILL WALK ALL OVER LIKE 1974...GERMANY is mediocre, can't do , 3/4 of their team are foreigners, Brazil, not as good as previous, only 4 returning players from last world cup, leaves the door for one team, and looking at them and their recent form,,, THE NETHERLANDS, wow are they impressive.

^^ Sorry to dissapoint you sahand but turkey will not make it all the way to the finals. they don't have the same team as they did last world cup. second of all they might still not even make it. they got a second spot in their group (that is if they beat albania on wednesday) and that was with a huge help from denmark knocking out greece. now they will end up going through a playoff game against teams such as spain or maybe even france or sweden. there are a lot of good teams this year in the second spots meaning some big teams will not even make it to world cup. thus if spain plays france in a playoff one of them will not make it. then look at other teams that are not in the world cup. romania, denmark, greece, bulgaria, maybe uruguay and russia etc. while teams like uzbekistan or bahrain will be in there along with angola and togo. i'm sorry but this system is just retarded!!

i'll tell you where they are. it was a fluke that they won euro cup and everyone knows that. they played a defensive style of football with a defensive trap down the middle. it was so ugly to watch them, considering they only took one shot on goal during the whole match. they never made it before and there is no reason for them to make it next year or in the future just b/c of one flukey tournament. they are just like the anaheim in the nhl when they made it to stanley cup finals or carolina or florida and teams like that. it just proves that any given game, anything can happen, which i think is good for the sport that big teams don't always win, but just don't go out there saying oh what happened to greece because they are not even in top 20 teams in the world. |
