i hate aussie media: They are seriously depressed that yasi didn't do much damage:
'breaking news: Cyclone yasi claims a life'..... one person died because of some mistake with a generator he was using or something... they're pushing it like half the population of cairns was killed.
I swear channel 7 was trying to kill their reporter on camera for ratings.
the age, considered one of the better aus papers:
"BREAKING NEWS: Cyclone yasi claims first victim!"
-- some guy suffocated because of incorrectly using a generator.... what the does that have to do with the cyclone? .

| How can you keep talking about a cyclone that didn't kill anyone? Of course it's got to have caused the death of someone, it was a bleeding category 11 cyclone and someone's got to pay for that! |

they already started: THey're up an enormous 200% already!! OMG THATS THE EQUiVALENT OF GENOCIDE!!!!!
They spent about 30 seconds mentioning the weather in chicago, where something like 15 people have died, and the entire city shut down, buildings collapsing etc due to heavy snow, and actually made some joke about crap reporting, or it being trivial, before returning to the cyclone bull, and going on about this guy who died... they don't even know why he died now, they're just saying its most likely because his generator wasn't ventelating properly :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :whip: :whip:
this is why i NEVER watch TV. So ing annoying. I want to take a shotgun into the station and lay waste to the newsroom: Though, of course they would film it, and get exactly what they want, so its probably not worth it. |
