I'll have to remember to stay away from whichever part of Australia these inhabit.
This apparently took place yesterday, WTF!
When you come home and one of those is on the wall, what do you do?

Are those bird eating spiders? We get them here where I live :p
I took this in my yard a few years ago. It's missing a leg, but this thing was BIG.
They're more common further north though, thankfully.

In your back yard!? FTS!
I'm generally not afraid of spiders, but at that size who wouldn't be!? You could practically catch and cook one of thos. Not that you'd want to, or anything.:wtf:

I've bought Australian Dollar Futures over the past couple of weeks, where are we, 1.03 USD for an Aussie (AUD) ? We're going to 1.07 where it was bouncing around last year.
So, no Australia doesn't suck.

Yeah, we get golden orbs as well, but they look different to that particular one I photographed.

Hmmm, you might be right. What I know as a golden orb looks a bit different (more round in shape at the back). If there are different kinds though, then that would explain it.
Edit: Ok, so golden orbs are also known as bird-eating spiders, I think.
