Well, the biggest Funnel Web spider has been found in Straya. Here's some nightmares:
One of the best things is that it's natural position is basically: Come at me bro (see vid)
Best of all though, this massive (not to mention the most deadly spider there is) was caught by someone on a hike, as part of Australia's "spider milking program".
