They spent about 30 seconds mentioning the weather in chicago, where something like 15 people have died, and the entire city shut down, buildings collapsing etc due to heavy snow, and actually made some joke about crap reporting, or it being trivial, before returning to the cyclone bull, and going on about this guy who died... they don't even know why he died now, they're just saying its most likely because his generator wasn't ventelating properly :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :whip: :whip:
this is why i NEVER watch TV. So ing annoying. I want to take a shotgun into the station and lay waste to the newsroom: Though, of course they would film it, and get exactly what they want, so its probably not worth it. |
yeah but most of your female tv people are pretty hot. just look at some of the fugly bints that British and Yank TV channels have |

| We should just annex NZ and be done with it, though we'd probably go broke setting up any kind of infrastructure and industry beyond a 'quaint' tourist tree hugging and sheep molesting that goes on there right now |

There have been talks for a while about no longer requiring passports for travel across the Tasman. I am in two minds about it: it's way less hassle, but having your passport checked kind of makes you feel like you're leaving NZ :p (which is exciting, doesn't matter where you are going).
On the contrary because NZ is basically in a straight line from top to bottom and sparsely populated, it is devilishly easy to set up infrastructure here. Still it's a massive fail overall in my opinion. |

NZ actually used to have quite a mix of industry and a very healthy economy back in the 1980's, then a succession of tin pot, greeny governments drove it all into the ocean. Think it was about 3 vehicle manufacturing, 7 parts factories, quite a few civil engineering, airline and Telco firms that I know of that got trashed by the 90s. Their estate business was also quite good as a lot of old people loaded up with cash used to retire there.
Just never seemed to pick up again |

| Yeah the glory days are over lol. In the 50s I think NZ was #1 in the OECD or something, because of the agricultural demand from overseas. |
