I second that, but the wrong reasons. I think their inexperience in playoffs as a team will definitely hurt them.
And I am still picking the Indians to win that division, watch my word. I said it before the season ewven started, and I am still saying it now. |

i concur.
their hitting is mediocre. their pitching is good with garland and hernandez. however, garland has been slipping a little lately, and hernandez has a very high ERA for someone with a winning record. |

at least you have us making the playoffs. the hitting has gotten a lot better lately with rowand, dye and konerko getting hot and thomas coming back helps. we need to get rid of crede, that guy just sucks at the plate. |

Insanity in the Bronx! 13 run eigth inning...homers galore! Matsui again! Craziness. I know it's just the lowly Rays but it was still an incredible display of offensive power.
I like what I"m starting to see in these Yankees. They've been showing some fight lately. Although the pitching is nowhere near as consistent as everyone wants it to be, it looks like the Bombers are a team to be reckoned with still.
It'll be an interesting summer. |

WOW ... I cant believe the Yankees hammered the TB like that. When I was at work, a fellow employee of mine, an avid Yankee fan, was angry that his team was losing to the Rays again by 8 runs. I came home now, looked at the score, checked the recaps on MLB.com, and all I can say is ... WOW.
Great statistics: Rays, for the second time already, are the only team in MLB history to lead a game by 8 runs only to lose by 9. They also had the same feat in 1999 vs. Cleveland Indians. Hehe |

whoo hoo! ..
the yanks score 20 runs ..
aughh snap. .. it was to the devil rays .. oh well .. at least the yankees still have their pride, or what's left of it ..
the al east looks very confusing right now ..shouldn't toronto and baltimore be simmering down right now, and let the yankees be their b!tches ??? :conf: :conf: ...
and how about manny ramirez's gaurantee that the sox will win the world series a couple of days ago .. not going to happen, because the sox will be the yankees b!tches again .. :nervous: :nervous:
yankees will continue to own the sox . |

How can anyone not respect Robinson..he was the first player to win Mvp in both al and nl and actually played during a time of racial turmoil(unlike barry "you all are racist" bonds.i had read Cal Ripken saying if he hadn't had Robinson as his manager when he came up with the orioles that he wouldn't be half the person or player that he ended up being |
i concur.
robinson was awesome back in the day. |

I've never seen anything like this before. 4 of Braves' 5 starting pitchers are now on disabled list. WOW. Ramirez left the game early yesterday so now he joins Hampton, Hudson with injuries ... Smoltz is the only remaining pitcher from the beginning of the year who was part of the original rotation. And yet Braves win yet again yesterday. Five of last 6 games are W's.
