chances are we wouldnt have made it with him since he was a clubhouse cancer. that guy did nothing but cry and complain. he still blames ozzie for his contract troubles with the team. we offered him that huge contract which would have hampered kenny williams' ability to get free agents like iguchi, dye, el duque, etc.

Months ago, I remember watching Outside the Lines on ESPN when they had a feature on Ozzie Guillen. They had an audio clip of his response to Magglio. Over half of his response got censored out. :stongue: :stongue: :stongue:

After listening to his nice comments, he really gained my respect :gsmile:
Magnetonium

Here are the scenarios needed for only the two participants who still have a shot at winning this thing:

dj2kTA needs White Sox to win the WS to win this pool.
Verndogs needs Astros to win the WS to win this pool.

Protege, even though he can still collect runner-up points from every White Sox win, is eliminated from winning this pool and he will finish an impressive 3rd. However, he can finish second only if White Sox manage to sweep the Astros.

In silver-ish colour are participants who have been eliminated from receiving any more points in the WS. Better luck next year!

1. dj2kTA - 66 pts (18-8)

2. verndogs - 64 pts (17-9)

3. Protege - 52 pts (16-10)

4. Magnetonium - 36 pts (10-11)
4. Member of X - 36 pts (10-11)
6. Eddie N MIAMI - 33 pts (11-10)
7. Mebot - 27 pts (10-15)
8. Acid Circus - 25 pts (9-12)
9. SlackerBoy9 - 21 pts (7-8)
10. Dj Smitty20 - 21 pts (8-13)
11. Shamez214 - 17 pts (4-11)

i think i know what you're talking about. it had something to do with magglio saying that "he's my enemy" and then ozzie went off the next day and said something like "you want an enemy, ill be your ing enemy. mags is nothing but a piece of ." amazingly, it was one of the few interviews he's given that doesn't need subtitles.
Acid Circus
Ah well another year ends for the Cards. Good luck to the Astros in the WS, they may be division rivals but I'll still support them during the WS (even though a Whitesox win would get it right up the Cubbies).
