the nationals are starting to really slide right now ..
they got swept by the braves the other day .. the nationals seem to worry more about teams outside their division instead of the ones inside .. not much easier, with the marlins coming up, and the braves again at atlanta .. |

let's see how he does before you start writing him off. His ERA was slightly over 4.00 at Coors Field in Coloroda...and as we all know, the ball carries differently there because of the altitude difference. Plus he was playing on absolutely the crappiest team in the entire MLB with Single A calibre offence. |

Man, that NL West is so weak - Padres (50-51) are leading it with a losing record by 2 GAMES ... :stongue:
Realistically, Giants are like 45-57 or something like that, yet only 5 and 1/2 games back. With that record they are still in the hunt for the division ... :haha: :haha: :haha: |

that's the luck of the draw sometimes. The NL and AL Easts are both tight and the AL West is going to be close too.
August and September are great months for baseball. |

news just in ..
the giants trade two prospects to the mariners for randy winn .. seems the giants still think they can win the division, and barry bonds will come back to save the team .. hahahaha ...
and soriano's and ramirez's name has been popping up a lot for trade rumors .. we will see tomorrow ..
oh yeah .. and the yankees get another pitcher .. alan embree .. and chacon was solid today against the angels .. i can't judge the yankees pitching now . |

let's try to guess how many asteriks he is going to have .. and how many before and after "certain circumstances" stats lines he is going to have ..
he is going to have "before and after the roids" .. "before and after he has taken his impotence pills" (i dont want to say viagra .. did he represent viagra .. not sure) .. before and after brady anderson's "so called roid" year .. hahhahaha ...
