Question of a day: WILL Dontrelle WILLis become the FIRST 20 game winner in Marlins franchise history? I mean, they have 2 World Series championships, yet NOT a single 20 game winner :haha: :stongue: :disbelief |
or a division title  |

Mets almost had(have) a win tonight, but Atlanta came back in the 9th.
Top of the 10th now.. but the bases are loaded and only 1 out..
heres hoping the Mets can pull through to avoid a sweep. |

speaking of baseball ..
how about them yankees ..
i bashed them before, but i regret it now ..
their recent acquisitions (small and chacon) really stepped it up.. a-rod and sheff are practically carrying the bats right now .. but it may be too little too late .. |

| Damn, Mets choked, and Nationals got spanked... but Willis got his 20th win. I guess that should account for something. |

looks like the bats are little too heavy for sheff as he pulled a hammy
how do you met fans like shingo time? he had a good rookie year before everyone got a look at him. i feel bad for the guy but he just doesnt look like he can get it done here. |

Wasn't Shinjo once upon a time the all time Japanese saves leader in Japan, strange how alot of these players can't get it done here..Kaz Matsui somehow comes here and forgets how to play defense, hideki Irabu throws batting practice balls over the middle of the plate......really odd.I wish the Mets could lure sasaki back but after the way he left the Mariners to go back home i don't see that happening |

yea he was the saves leader over there, they used to call him Mr. Zero. i guess the game in japan is just different and some of the players cant adapt quick enough or cant keep up with the rest of the league. look at hideo nomo. that guy used to be filthy on the mound but last i heard he was in the minors. i just hope that tadahito iguchi doesnt become another victim. also, i heard during the year that irabu was tearing it up back in japan. |
