the sports radio we have here trips me out though, all of a sudden Dan La Betard (the host) started naming random White Sox in their history cause he was noticing random baserunners all the time during todays game, people started calling in with Lamar Hoyt , Ron Karkavoice, Joe Cowley, Ron Kittles, Ivan Caledron references etc...
So I called in right on time to be the last caller

Dan starts laughing , (said somethin about Rusty).... ok and last thing name the most famous players in white sox history real quick (cause Dan said the White Sox never really had that many stars).

funny, except i dont enjoy jokes about ivan since he was murdered. karkovice was hilarious though, inside the park grand slam. :stongue: |

Hey Jonze, how come you didnt enter the Pool? I had to double check to make sure I didnt miss your name ... :disbelief
On the playoff note, Peavy is done for the rest of whats-left-of-padres-chances-playoffs LOL. Poor guy, led the team the whole season, and that rib injury ... Padres are toasted now. Good thing that ALMOST noone picked Padres to even make it out of the first round.

It's only the first game of the postseason...anything can happen..
Magnetonium, are you keeping track of everyone's standings? I wasn't paying attention on how you were calculating scores so I'm just entrusting you on keeping tabs on everything.:p |

Yes, there are 11 people participating, and I am am honest guy when it comes to people's trust in me. I will not cheat. I'll make sure everyone will get the points they deserve. If you want to double-check your points, you can also check HERE for points system, standings. Or HERE to see everyone's picks :D . It's in alphabetical order on those links, to make is easier to search through.
For the Division Series round, the points are: 2 for every win by your chosen team and 1 extra point for every exact number of games you picked you team to win the series. Cheers, and good luck! |
