I thought the Red Sox should have kept Lowe since he's only as good as the infield defense, but I guess somewhere along the line the bridges got burned :conf:

wow Wells is really pitching a masterful game(add sarcastic tone).Going to be a rough month for the sox...Mets play the Reds tomorrow i am praying for a good outing but the reds hitting is ridiculous

they never offered him a deal to come back
I don't know why

I think they were negotiating the extension before the 2004 season started, but they could not agree on a number, so they let him go

not really much of a baseball fan .. but i am a fantasy baseball fan .. love the wheeling and dealing that goes around .. awaiting for the first round of waivers to pass, and then the action starts for me .. so start seeing me make some trade offers to each and everyone of you owners out there .. made one to mattsanity, but he doesn't want to give up jose santana for a group of quality players ..

I think the reason why mattsanity dosnt wanna give up santana is cause..........He Dosnt Have Santana! Kingencal does ;)

caught a little of the game 2night.Cant always say much after 1 game but RJ looks for real for this year once again, nice solid outing.

you're right .. what am i thinking .. i currently have two yahoo teams, and i think i made about 10 trade offers the past 4 or 5 days .. so i probably got my trade offer with his mixed up .. i think i wanted ben sheets from him for some quality players ..

Wow,i ran home to watch the end of the mets- Reds game after hearing the mets were winning 6-3,and walk in the door and turn on the t.v. as Adam Dunn takes Braden looper yard to tie it up and then Looper follows that up with a meatball to freaking Joe Randa....walk off home run ..game over..see ya later.Going to be a long ass season

lol... I was going to say...

I'll part with Santana...

I don't think the Yanks are ing around this year, they mean business... my friend, who is a hardcore sox fan, I'm NOT... said they're lucky to finish 3rd this year, maybe 2nd, but no playoffs for sure...

I like the Los Angeles California Angels of Anaheim... and the Fish...in the series... LAA taking it... that's all...

Little too early to make predictions? LOL.

lol...yeah I know... but I don't watch any games all year, just care about stats.... and I start watching late september... so I just make picks because the next time I'll sit down and watch an actual game is september....

That yankee line-up doesn't give up... they got Giambi batting seventh for christ sake... Bernie...8th... yeah you can say they're washed up... but... who knows... go Orioles...lol...

Rivera is blowing another save right now to the Red Sox. Wonderful! All I know is that Hideki Matsui is a strong bet to win MVP this year. He's locked and loaded for a huge year.

I am from the NW and most of my Mariner fan friends actually respect and like Randy Johnson. They just hate A-Fraud. Even me loving the Yankees doesn't make me a Pay Rod fan. He always seems like a stat guy that doesn't do the little things that win you the game. And he doesn't really inspire other players.

I think Juiceambi will have a decent year. He won't hit 40 HR's but he'll hit for a good avg., high OB %, 25+ HR's. Not bad for a 7th hitter. Bernie is washed up my opinion. Yankees need someone like Juan Pierre roaming in center. Andruw Jones is a free agent after this year.........

I'm skipping work tomorrow for the Sox game. Weather is gonna be bootiful.
