In the news today,
Lou Piniella's contract has been bought out by the Tampa Bay Rays, which didnt come as a surprise to some people like me. Where do you guys think he will be coaching next year? Baltimore, perhaps?

Thats why I was so surprised earlier in the season that White Sox were so ahead. Who knows, its not over yet. I think getting swept by Tampa Bay at home in August will definitely cost them (the Indians)/ |

Even though I am not a Yankee fan, for reasons undisclosed, I never wrote them off. Even when they were at their worst this season. Their resugrence and now a division lead comes to no surprise to me, whatsoever. However, I do believe Red Sox have another magic trick up their sleeve, and their head-to-head matchups at the end of the season will be absolutely crucial in deciding the division winner. |

Did anyone else see Kameron Loe (Texas) get nailed in the head by Vladimir Guerrero? Luckily it looked like the impact just grazed the bill of his cap and he was back on his feet. It didn't look like he had any bruises and he wasnt bleeding or anything but they still took him out of the game.
Reminded me of Matt Clement (Red Sox) getting beaned back in July. |

Yanks haven't won yet, but it's great to see this new Red Sox "dynasty" falling apart faster than David Wells can slam back a Big Mac. |
