of course .. the yankee bandwagon is starting to churn forward now .. .. especially with the way sheff and a-rod are hitting, the yankees could go somewhere ..

and why is kevin brown still their starting pitcher ?? .. :conf: .. the yankees should be smart, and use him as their setup man, because the more starts he gets, the more he is going to be burnt, which means his confidence is going down lower ..

So they should start Tim Redding and Darrell May instead? That's why...

They have no other choice!!! They desperately need starting pitching now.

Notoriety i suppose. The media love to delve on potential powederkegs. "hey this guy explodes whenever he sees a camera! lets follow his arraignment and court dates and see if he shoves someone else!"

but you gotta love the exchange:

Rogers "You're getting really close, you know that? Do You hear me?"

(few seconds later) Rogers " You must be pretty proud of yourself"

Cameraguy "Its just my job, Kenny"

Rogers "Yeah. Your Job. That's just your excuse"

seriously whats up with his adversion to cameramen, i mean yeah i wouldnt like camera all up in my face and , but if they're far away and not bothering me, its not like he has to take immediate offense to it. Your a ballplayer in the major leagues, Kenny. Grow up and act like it. You're in the major league spotlight.

it's not that kenny rogers is young .. he's 40, going to turn 41 in november .. ..

why doesn't he take some ethics lessons from roger clemens .. oh wait .. how many more rings does clemens have, compared to rogers ?? case closed.

i wonder who needs to grow up more.. bonds or rogers ?? i am still going to be rough on bonds until he either confesses that he did the illegal substances, or he calls it quits to rid of the giants fans misery from awaiting his return .. it's not like the fans are really hoping for his return anyways ..

All the more reason that there is no excuse for this kind of behavior. You'd figure he'd know better by now...or at least not let him faze him as much.

Kenny Rogers is an idiot

allright so rumor is the Marlins wanna trade Lowell :wtf:
I mean I know he's struggling, but I think we should be a little more patent on him, I mean he was like in the top 5 3rd baseman the past couple of years.Alot of stars have had a bad year.
And get this, they wanna trade him for...Larry Bigbie! gosh wtf, I dunno much about him , maybe mebot cause he used to be a orioles fan, but his numbers are not all that, they also might package him with Burnett, we might also get Jorge Julio.Burnett has been the guy that is without a doubt most likely to leave, but letting go of Lowell is stupid IMO.

I don't think it ever really stopped. At least, I knew it was way too early unlike these retarded Red Sox radio and newspaper analysts.

Responding to a request by the Minnesota Twins to expand a potential trade, the Red Sox are in discussions to acquire starting pitcher Joe Mays and reliever J.C. Romero for third baseman Bill Mueller and first baseman Kevin Millar, league sources said yesterday. According to sources, the Twins aren't as willing to part with Mays as they are Kyle Lohse.

According to a club source, the Orioles have also contacted the Los Angeles Dodgers about Jeff Weaver and the San Francisco Giants about their ace, Jason Schmidt. The source said the club has discussed bringing up 24-year-old right-hander John Maine, who is 6-7 with a 4.25 ERA for Triple-A Ottawa, and sending the struggling Sidney Ponson to the bullpen.
