there there. there there. it may be , but we seem to be ok in it, much better than our footballers, but when your national teams secret weapon is a guy who's turned down £140k a WEEK at a club he supposedly cares for, you tend to look for other sports to follow for success :p
ps on another sporting note, my county are close to signing Mahela Jayawardene for the first 3 months of next season. Quality :D (he follows names like Michael Slater, Michael Holding, Simon Katich, Travis Birt, Michael Di Venuto etc) as people to have graced my county :D |

we've been for years too. ever since dominic cork took his ball & went to play with lancashire. but then david houghton took over, established a good academy & we've done better.

SA has Jason Gillespie (who top scored in both innings of that match), and then the 3 next big things in Aus cricket, Mark Cosgrove, Dan Cullen and Cullen Bailey.
How, how can professional cricketers suck so much? Especially those guys, although Cosgrove is the biggest overrated piece of going around. And what the hell is with the top 6 when a bowler is the highest scorer.
The entire team may as well give up, cos they obviously aren't cricketers. i don't know what they are meant to be, but I know they're not meant to play cricket.
If I was Jason Gillespie I'd be looking to jump ship to another state cos I would not want to be associated in any way, shape or form with SA. He's the only one who actually stands up and he must be getting pretty pissed off when his teammates are weak spineless little hacks who don't deserve to even be in his shadow. He's been the only one to show some fight for the last year (excusing Boof Lehmann who has been injured a lot recently) and he just keeps being let down by the rest of the team. |

Go away and die, hopefully someone who deserves a spot will replace you. Especially you Cosgrove, you act like a spoilt little brat who doesn't realise the opportunity you have been given. Time to act your age, smarten up and realise you're probably on your last chance. You don't have a right to be in that team, its a privelege, so stop acting like you do.
