Indeed we are friends. I am sorry that my post incited sornful feelings. My previous letter was meant to provide levity in that it was signed by the Core and the sentiment expressed therein was much alligned with the general standoffish comments one would expect from the Core as a whole. If nothing else the Core is good at discouraging others, which is what I was attempting to relate, however, it would seem that my attempt to make light was ill-conceived and ineffectual. Please understand that I, personally, do not agree with the comments or your letter, which precipitated mine.
