from my pov
we were friends as you knew. I was gonna meet her when she came to europe but was feeling really ty and at the same point, we sold our house as my folks split and were bunking up my nans with 2 houseloads of furniture in there, it was a cramped up atmosphere & i didn't want to subject her to having to stay there, esp with my family being there. Then my dog became sick & I had to have him put to sleep, jolz said sorry about it, but i took how she said it the wrong way & eventually said some nasty stuff to her. I apologised but then found out she'd been sick herself or something, and apologised once more because I didn't want someone who'd been a good friend to be ill as I know what it's like spending loads of time at hospitals (her job not withstanding)
It was also stirred up a bit by a 3rd party but eventually led to hatred between the two of us. since then, we've had 2 years of not-liking each other, but it peaks at times and settles over others when we don't really say much to/at each other.
c'est la vie mate. if it was to happen again, I wouldn't have said what I did (and I dunno if she'd have said what she did) but it happened and is awkward mostly because we have a fair few mutual acquaintances on here.
