Ok inhabitants of the california boomer and whiskers thread, I've made an executive decsion (more like caved under pressure :P). This thread will be closed when the post count reachs 17500.
It seems every mod on TA agrees with the fact that the post whoring and such has gone on too long. And in the future all "spam threads" should be closed down. It would only be hipocritical to keep this one open.
After the thread is closed you can always converse about the west coast forum in smaller threads, so its not the end of the world.
Dont try to change my mind, Ive already made the decsion.
Just in case people gloss over the post without reading the contents lemme write it in big letters for people to see:

how long will our other threads last?
or should we just keep making new threads everytime we deviate from topic..
ps, im not trying to be a prick about, I think its cool mods are starting to do more work :P. |

| An idea from another forum. Why don't we create a new thread, then when that thread reaches a certain number of posts, you close it? So when that thread is closed, we start another one? That way we can have our own threads, but not let them reach a high number of posts. |

wikked neo is back.. he just closed the PPR part deux thread in NYTA forum.
neo's comment closing it, however, was that all random posts should be in chillout.
so im just wondering if we started another thread like this or a PPR thread in COR, won't it still get for being too long and being chatty? i mean COR doesnt give you postcount, but mods in the past have given to long threads being chatty and random..
so is this a catch-22? |
