| fuct4, if you're really worried about it, do your own research first. There are all kind a websites that give quite good descriptions of bipolar disorder...symptoms...that kind a thing. You don't want to get put on the medication if you don't need it. Most people who are bipolar hate the medication...Doctors, sometimes, they don't really know...don't really care. |

i'm not a big fan of medication to fix your "bi polar disorder"
why is it you thats wrong, maybe its the environment that hte person is in.
legal drugs, meds, illigal drugs whatever you wanna call them, alter your state of perceptions of the world.
there are times they can be very useful, and times they can be very harmful. (not just physicaly).
most doctors throw out drugs today to cure things they call diseases or disorders. "oh your depressed, here take these xanax they will make you feel happy" or "oh your child is hyper active, give him some ritalin that'll calm him down"
while i'll definatly be one to like to indulge in some of these drugs recreationally, i don't think taking them will necesarily solve your problems. being ed up on some substance all the time isn't always gonna fix something.
sometimes it can help tho. i have had experiences while doing drugs one nite and then feeling like a new person the next day coming to new realiziations.
but it is all up to the individual in the end and them being knowledgeable of how their mind is changing on the drug and what is possibly wrong with it when they are not on the drug and also them being cogniscent of why they are depressed and also being strong enuf themselves to get over the depression without relying on the inebriated state of the drug to be happy with themselves.
ahh sorry felt like going on a little rant there.
i'd say i'm bi polar and depressed at times. i know what my problems are and try to get over them. and i know what my problems are with the outside world and try to get over them. don't let that other keep you down. do what you can do to enjoy your life. not wallow around in all the depressing parts about it.
ahh anyway, i still haven't got this damn paper done :p |

maybe you should go ahead and spend that $1,500 ;)
as for depression, bipolar, yes, it does hurt your life. but, personally, i have the best epiphanies when i'm depressed and that's also when i learn the most about myself, so i wouldn't wanna give it up and become one of them mindless fake-happy drones on medication |

that sucks, but im sure that in college they at least give you some interesting topics to research. i had to write an essay about how americans should exercise more in this exam i took today. i had to expound upon something i could have thouroughly explained in one paragraph.
