yes, i don't like when people undermine my authority and i don't like when they challenge my beliefs, because, quite frankly, i know for sure that my beliefs are 100% correct from moral, physical, ethical, biological, psychological, philosophical, social, and any other standpoints you can come up with.
a planet where everyone was like me would be a perfect world without worries and without troubles, because everyone would just kill each other and the planet would be left to the plants and the animals to inhabit until a new race evolves from, say, chupacabras, and another me springs up, posting crazy ideas on the intarweb at 1 am, provided they come up with such things as "the intarweb", "1 am", "posting", and "crazy ideas" |

dreams are not that random, i would say. seriously, how would you explain the fact that i often dream of running or of having intimate closure? |
its not that random in that everyday experiences influence what you dream about. The random firing plays a small part.
I guess it could all fall into schemas and how you interpret the world, with that you would find that a lot of the events that happen around you are interpreted the same therefore giving you the same dreams.
hhmm, sorry that was jargon filled, more like I was think aloud. but I am no dream guy, I have my physio-behavioral reason for thinking the way i do. Plus there are some assumptions in your dream thinking, like how problems are set in the mind and how they are solved.
im not asserting right or wrong, its just a matter of opinion.....or faith, or whatever you call it.
and its only 9:50pm///not 1.......yes there is a universal time, and that is the time here. |

whoo, I was defeated and I didn't know I lost, or that I was in battle.
eh, there was an experiment run where a guy would think of certain things before going to bed and would dream about them....
I think, but am not certain....he thought about avacados? if those make you thirsty then that is them. well he thought about them, slept, and dreamt about drinkign water. he did this on multiple occasions.
they would monit0r his brain waves and wake him after a bit o rem sleep so he would remember them all.
Also the neural firing patterns during dream are very erratic, so there is no way that randoms thoughts/feelings would not be in dreams. this has been recorded many many times.
also the basis of dream analysis is totally subjective, running could mean countless things....so which is it? So you can see why any scientist would laugh at interpretting dreams since there is so much variability in them.
did I still lose? |
