well, if you want serious help..
i've been recording my dreams for over a year now, at first, to help me become lucid, then for the sheer satisfaction that the process of writing them down brought to me, and now not only that, but also to trace patterns and to learn more about myself.
for example, i noticed that in many of my dreams i appear to be running away either from something or simply running a marathon. that's just like a whole story of who i am right there. just like chuck palahniuk said, not exact quote, but "the movement of your hands, your body language, that's your whole life story right there".
if you want to really analyze it, just try to think what everything
means in terms of your life. of course, you could say "bull!" to anything anybody else would come up with and you could be right, but remember, dreams are subconscious.
for example, everyone from the west coast saying "what the hell are we doing here" and then zooming off could signify your subconsciousness questioning you reasons for doing something or being somewhere, like working a certain job, per say, and not having the support of the people around you. the fact that the people at the stop were TAs might be a dissatisfaction with your current friends, say - you subconsciously don't approve of their not liking electronic music
in my latest dream i was trying to save people from being eaten by an beast, and i died (well, it wasn't that easy), so you can interpret that in a way that I long for appreciation and closure and the beast might signify school, for example, so in my dream i might've been a Catcher in the Rye.
the thing about interpreting dreams is that you have to remember every little detail that you can, like colors, moods, feelings, weather, etc.
there must be books out there, so if you really want and are interested, you can read about those things |
No i won't say its bull, analyzing dreams is very interesting topic. Ive read a couple passages from various Dream Books and sometimes it makes sense, like running away means ur running from something in real life and stuff like that..
next time i have a weird ass dream i'll tell u about it and u can analyze it if you really want to.
No dreams last night though :( |

Hi Hi,
Well, lets see. Class is getting harder and harder. What sucks is, my class is an instrument class, not a mock surgery class. Mock surgery isn't for 4 more months, where we learn actual procedures, etc. So, my instructor said he is going to pick the top 5 students to do a mock surgery (on a dummy) with him. Guess, what, I am one of the 5. That is going to be the final for the 5 of us, the rest have a some what easier final. So today the first 2 are going, mine is on Monday. My procedure is a breast removal. :toothless
I am beyond nervous, I think I'll pass out soon. :eyes:
As for my lovely hispanic girl, nothing happened when she went out to dinner with that guy, so I am happy about that. I don't know, it's weird. It's like I want to ask her out, but I am scared to. If you ask are there signs she likes me? In MY eyes, I think so. The other day I was sitting at one of those desks you see in high schools, you know chair/table combo stuff? Well, she came over and sat on the desk part of it, which is only about 6 inches wide. She is sitting there, and since the desk is so small she has to lean towards me to stay on the desk. Ah, I was in heaven feeling her leaning on me. :p :D :D :D Also, I swear to god, I started feeling something scratching me. I glanced down and saw that she was just like scratching my arm while sitting there.
So who wants to be my therapist?
