I have a question. About the ultra right way of thinking.
What do they think married people should do if the married people aren't ready to start making children? Abstain? Or practice birth control? |
abstain, obviously! sex is dirty and evil, you're not supposed to have pleasure!!
the only pleasure that's not a sin is pleasure from serving god! |

I guess you must have missed this article I posted a while back:
http://www.alternet.org/story.html?StoryID=18259
:nervous: :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: |
from that article:
| quote: |
Bush's order reflected the views of those at farthest reaches of the Christian right, zealots who saw any means by which women controlled reproduction as unbiblical:
"I would like to outlaw contraception...contraception is disgusting – people using each other for pleasure." -Joseph Scheidler, Pro-Life Action League
"I don't think Christians should use birth control. You consummate your marriage as often as you like – and if you have babies, you have babies." Randall Terry, Operation Rescue
Over the next twelve months the administration moved quickly to install similarly-minded Christian fundamentalists to positions of authority and influence over all matters relating to reproductive and sexual health. |
I dunno. Maybe I'm missing something. This way of thinking seems rather irresponsible. |

hey, when does everyone's school end?, I got a while, but I think I am gonna try to finish all my final projects early....and actually do it.
every term I have been in college I try to do reports n stuff early, yet it always comes down to the last minute.
which reminds me, I have another paper I have to do...damn it. |
