Thanks for teh nice comments guys!
The first one is of an old farmhouse in Big Bend National Park, West Texas. I have not thought of a title for it, but I am elated with the result. The ominous looking storm clouds give the picture a nice foreboding atmosphere. I can make the clouds look even better with a little more time though.
The second I call, "Suburban Melancholy." It's my interpretation of the isolation, monotony, and yes melancholy that goes hand in hand with suburbia. Some people I've shown it to aren't too keen on it, but I love it. I guess that's what counts.
I have several more in that series that I will also share with you guys. ;)
The third pic is pretty much just my messing around at Christmas time, and it’s not a very good pic really.
The reindeer on the left's name is "Paindeer." I made him in seventh grade shop class, and he's just chillin’ with his crew. Jesus is on his antlers.
The fourth pic is me of course hehe. I have another better one with a rembrandt lighting pattern that I like better than the split lighting of the particular shot above. Emphasis on geometry is very important in many of my pictures, and thus the triangle. Actually rembrandt lighting would also make more sense in that case.
:D
- I must also say I'm not a fan of the flower wallpaper, but I couldn't do anything about that.
Maybe if I find another room with similar characteristics...;) |
