Nothing ever really closes around here always something open 24/7 which is different, especially if you go to any other cities and see closing at 10 and everything is dark just a wierd feeling. In vegas most clubs in casinos close at 4 which to me is early some clubs are open till 8 or 9 in the mourning. I mean vegas also personally is a whole trendy place to live people here are sp fake its nutz but that goes for LA as well. Music scene here sucks major cock.... but hope with the arrivial of spundae and the whole spundae family here in vegas that we will definatly do something special in this town. Because vegas is definatly has major potential to be something great! |
yeah i'd like spundae to get more involved in vegas. i'd much rather come to vegas for a party than to some place in LA.
LA is convinient, but in vegas the party atmostphere is so much more layed back. and the bar never closes and you can smoke inside. reminds me of europe. :p |

wow, I totally forget that you pretty much can't smoke anywhere in cali. Not that I care, I am a non smoker, but it is wierd to hear people saying that.
I am still adjusting to the late night clubbing here. Back in Detroit everything shut down at 2...no later. So when I see dj's getting up on stage at 1-1:30...its nuts to me. but who cares cause you can buy drinks at anytime.
and I second the whole people are fake out here, totally different than midwesterners. ALthough I have met a ton of people from the midwest, so they don't fit the entire vegas fake stereotype. |

yeah, DJs coming on super late is crazy when you spend all your time in clubs that close at 2
i remember when i was in mykonos a few years back. i went out ot go see sasha, he didn't take the decks till 8am in hte morning.
i had been at the club since 4. it wascrazy i was so exhausted by the time he came on.
and yeah there are tones of fakey people out here. i'm a midwesterner also (from st. louis) and find that most of the cali girls i meet here (at least the super hot ones) are mainly fake ditsy blah types. |

on a side attention whore whiney rant.
my neck ing hurts. yesterday when i was taking down the DJ setup form a party (i was quite drunk by the itme the party was over) i was carrying the big coffin with my other friend (its super long and heavy) anyway i was walking backwards and triped over a speaker and before i knew it i was lying completly on the grown with my legs up on top of the speaker. luckly the coffin didn't hit the ground, we were able to save it.
but i got up and knew i was going to hurt in the morning. and of course today i wake up and i can't turn my head to the left without undergoing excruciating pain.
and tonite i have to go party big time at the hybrid show. |

Hi everyone!
I posted in here at like 6am but I guess I deleted it. :(
I'm back to being a bit dysfunctional today.
Montie, on my campus there are lots of hot girls but it seems the fakey ones are from southern California. The hot girls who aren't from southern California (like me chuckle chuckle) are fine. Normal. I don't even know if I'd classify the southern California girls as fake. Its more like they're just very materialistic.
Most of us are very tuned into personality, behaviour, speech, expressions, smiles, beliefs but the ones from southern California seem more concerned with what kind of car a guy drives or where his parents live.
Typically I don't generalize because generalizations tend to be faulty. And I've only been here...two months. So I dunno. |

is the minimum age for clubbing in nevada 21 too? |
|
|
| Echo of Silence |
I think so. I'll be 18 soon. So I'm hoping 18. But I think everything in Las Vegas is 21.
We'll wait for boomer to confirm though. If it's 18, I'll faint.
We were in Vegas for a couple of days on our way here this summer and seriously, I couldn't do anything. |
