So I went to see my friend... mind you, I haven't seen her in about ten months, and we used to be best friends for years.... to find out.......
SHE'S MARRIED!!!!!
I can't believe it! She got married in a court house... she said I'll be her maid of honor for the real wedding (in about a year). I'm in shock. So happy for her though. :) I just can't believe my girl is married! |

She didn't tell anyone actually. She waited till we were all together to tell us. They went to a courthouse (just the two of them) and got eloped. He's going into the airforce (again) and she wants to be able to go with him, so they got married. Not even her parents knew till weeks later. They're making an official wedding in a year when they are situated and have enough income for a decent marraige.
ffs, I hate DigiNut. |

That's great news!
How old is she?
I finished writing an email to my cousin in Iraq a moment ago, and I hope he's doing well.
I just wanted him to know that everyone still supports them despite all this new rhetoric and revelation out there right now from Clarke, Kay, and others. His mother (my aunt) is still in denial that the government could lie about sending her son to war, and is also very brainwashed imo. It’s sad.
The whole thing really breaks my heart and angers me at the same time, especially after seeing all those wounded in the military hospital, but hopefully it will all work out for the best. That's the only thing we can hope for, but I'd damn sure hate to be in his shoes.
I sent him most of the pics that I had shown you earlier Phun Nun, since his morale is probably in need of a boost.
I wonder if they are allowed to even read the news or not?
:disbelief
How is your friend doing in Iraq? I forgot his name…:clown: |

Sara, such a beautiful smile!
In other news, I'm almost finished with my dress and it's really pretty almost exactly as I imagined it would be. Though it's not really the same colors but when you try to make something that you imagine, it's almost impossible to make it exactly as you imagine it so you kind of change how you imagine it as you make it. If this makes sense. :) and I'm showing my youngest sister how to take care of my flowers when I'm not here so my garden looks like it will survive maybe even flourish...it was actually my dad's garden but when I was 8 or 9 I started to help him with it and then he gave me a corner and then a row and eventually it was both of ours; when I left last summer for the US, I tried to show my mom how to care for everything. She's just not as patient as you should be when you are working in a garden. Anyway, I think between the efforts of my mother AND my little sister, our garden will be beautiful. |
