thats not true. alcohol (along with other drugs) changes your senses. if those changes causes you to " your life up" thats your own fault. you still made the choices.

oh and this girl who i lusted after back in high school, and was really good friends with but then lots of bad stupid immature stuff happend with, had boob implants. i didn't even notice when i met her at random at the mall the other day. then she IMed me and told me "i stare at girls chests when i talk to them"
and then she told me nonchelauntly she got new boobs.
time to go take the contacts out. |

i think you misunderstood me.
my friend got drunk and got his body slightly touched up with non-washable markers. i drove him home and had to try & calm him down, because he was really mad at his girlfriend because she was one of the people that drew on him. i feel bad for him, quite a mess, if you ask me, so that's why i'm saying - alcohol tends to interfere with your life even if you stay away from it. |

Only if you abuse it. Our culture sucks about doing that, and that's why we should try and emulate the Italians. There's an overwhelming body of evidence that shows that people who are moderate drinkers throughout their lives live longer and have lower risks of certain diseases.

Cats Cradle is a great novel, at least I enjoyed it. I like Vonneguts literature, check out his novel Breakfast of Champions and Slaughterhouse 5.

There was an earthquake in southeastern Iran earlier today; I just read that as many as 10,000 could be dead. The quake measured 6.3 on the Richter scale. Do you think Iran has and enforces building ordinance laws? If none of you know, I might research this on my own. I am curious. There are a lot of earthquake faults in Iran so I wonder if they build structures to meet certain codes, if yes, are their codes antiquated or do they adjust codes according to more recent developments in the building industry and if they retrofit older structures. Dave might know.
So what's going on with the madcow disease? So far, they found one cow with madcow disease in Washington? I haven't heard anything new since I've been home.
I know, I could Google all of this but I'm feeling a little lazy since I'm on dk dial-up.
I hope all of you who celebrate Christmas, had a great one. I've spent a lot of time with my friends and family and gee, I wish I could stay a month or two instead of just another week! Its so comfortable here. I'm sleeping at the weirdest times. I think I'm not on California time zone, not on London time zone, and not on DK time zone. Eh, I'm on the Goofy time zone. :p
