I'm so out of the loop in terms of new music. What are some good CDs out there to buy?

well, i just called. apparently she now has call id and i had to unblock my number and redial. no one answered.
dave, although i haven't heard them i hear MS' new album and Positive Ways 3 (mixed by Ronski Speed) are worth a listen. |

that's what i did. i called once, but she has one of those services that won't let blocked numbers get through, so i unblocked it and redialed.
so im basically left with two conclusions:
A. she's currently attending to another matter and is completely oblivious to the fact that i called
or
B. she knows i called and didn't answer for whatever reason.
im not going to worry about it for now. if she knows i called then she might confront me about it tommorrow at school or if she doesn't know i called then it gives me time to ask for more opinions on the matter and try calling again tommorrow night. |

I'm being quite honest on this request...This thread has 400 replies since yesterday....380+ about as worthless as the day old sushi. The forum has bogged down to a crawl and this is one of several root causes. Quoting another thread just to post it in here proves the shape this thread is in.
This isn't a chatroom...it was the reason given for lots of threads being closed in the past with far thousands fewer replies than this one. And this one acts like a chatroom more times than not.
I'm sorry that being a user that would like a fast reliable board is defined as a traitor. I appologize that I don't spend 18 hours a day on the board and have 40 posts per day to take in all the new information. I have a life and not all day to catch up on music based info that I'd like to know...and some chillout threads to make me laugh. I deeply regret not replying to a post of a country flag gif, with an equally impressive, yet different flag gif.
I'm just tired of waiting 10-15 minutes at times for a page to load, a problem that was not occurring when the board was clean...and yes a bit smaller in user base and number of threads in the cache.
Even with that being my pet peeve, I still post here on occassion...but the suggestion forum asks for suggestions...and I gave my suggestoin of what would help keep the clutter out and the speed up.

you're blaming our thread for the forum slowdown, which about 10-15 people browse in total, with about 3-4 people at most at once?
there's been so much more people coming to the boards in the past half a year, look at the numbers! the active users # is never below 200! swamper even had to disable the search during ASOT times because so many people flood the board
my real problem is you attacking THIS particular thread, in which you yourself posted. you're not attacking Post Padding Room #2 or that spam thread in UKTA. so what is the problem, do you have a grudge against us? there are much stupider threads in COR and it's nice to come here and 'spam' with the people that don't piss me off.
my only advice is, "if you don't like it - go to russia"
you can't blame us for the forum slowdown, that's ridiculous. i know i post spam and i know it's useless, but i don't care, so why does it bother you?
just because we want to have fun, and post a flag image, doesn't mean you have to try and ruin our fun. this is much more than a spam thread to us.
we're kids and we don't care what we post. if you want faster boards with more intelligent threads, why don't you find another place? this is our generation and we like to have fun and post senseless things in our own ways, so get off our backs about it.
