Best recommendation - skip afterparties on Saturday, sleep, go to EZ early on Sunday, go to BPitch afters that night. |
This. I wonder where the location is gonna be. I hope it's not too hot that day, lord knows the room is gonna be packed at HOT AS BALLS |

Also my buddy and I are first timers. We're staying in the Bronx close to Yankee Stadium. What is the best way to get to NYC. I know there is a subway relatively close.
Thanks! |
dayummm stayin in da HOOD, eh? The D and the 4 trains stop there. The 4 will take you to 125th, were the the only buses to Randall's Island are located.
The D takes you down the west side, all through Manhattan. The 4 takes you down the east side, all through Manhattan. Be careful walking around late at night....
Bring some pepper spray or a can of whoop assssss! :toothless :wtf: |

Or they could just take the ferry tickets and travel back to hotel with a taxi after the afterparty. |

Yeah I heard it's kind of rough around there, but I couldn't see spending another $200+ per night so I could be around a bunch of white yuppies.
I know it's going to have its bad parts but it's like any other major metropolitan area, as long as a person is observant of their surroundings and doesn't act like an they should be fine.
I keep watching videos from DEMF and i'm so in need of an open air festival. I know EZ won't really compare because DEMF is kind of a different species but i'm still getting super stoked.

The man i'm excited to see. He brought the heat all of Memorial Weekend, hopefully he's still on that hot streak. |

He just asked how to get to the city in general, so thats what I told him.
Best idea for afters: Sleep Saturday and go to Sunday parties.....Unless you really want to be cracked out for 2 days straight, then go to all the parties ;)
also: being "observant" doesnt always fly in the south bronx. Those dudes are not going to care if you have your head up your ass or if you have night vision goggles and can "observe" their every move. LOL
You shoulda stayed in Astoria or other parts of Queens. Cheaper rates and has the same access to Randall's as the Bronx. |

| I think there are gonna be a lot more people there this year. I feel like A LOT of people are flying in for this across country and overseas. I'm guessing 20k+ people each day. |

For sure. Last year's event was a huge success. I feel like this year though, almost no one is going to miss the Zoo. The turnout is going to me massive. |

I just hope they make the tents bigger and maybe improve the lights and maybe spruce up the tents a little so they just arent plain tents... |
