PVD don't play on the 'other stage'

Someone whom I was talking to on Twitter was saying it's possibly because of the merge between Armada & Vandit. Something about how it would not allow two DJ's, representing the same label, to headline the same event. I highly doubt this theory ever existed, but it's good to stir the brain a little :eyes:

I don't think it's true because the label merge was just to help out Vandit marketing/music wise and should not be in relation to DJ'ing whatsoever.

Laidback Luke is still playing, go look at the website.

This is really disappointing and pretty frustrating that Made would announce the festival initially with a major DJ who was probably a draw for alot of people (myself included) only to remove him. I'm sure the terms/conditions of ticket purchase state that the line-up is subject to change but it's just bad business and incredibly unprofessional.

I wonder how many people won't bother to check the line-up again until the festival and will show up and be really pissed off.

Also, this means they are really going to need to step it up and find some serious additions to this now even weaker line-up. I justified the ridiculous ticket prices this year because 2 of the biggest trance DJs were on that line-up, both of which I'd probably have to pay $50-60 a pop to see. Now I feel a little cheated, honestly.

I love how we can find the smallest thing to bitch about on TA. How many times have all of you that are complaining about PvD not spinning what would be a max 2 hour set, already seen him spin 4-6 hours at a club. And you're mad over this? I mean ... for me the best part about electric zoo is getting to see all the guys I HAVEN'T seen... and richie of course :)

but specifically...

dusty kid, claude von stroke, pretty lights, d ramirez, all those dubstep artists, reboot, diplo/major lazer

granted its a festival and the sets will be short but still... relax about PvD. we all know he will be in NY sooner than later, spinning a minimum of 4 hours, probably longer, and we all know it will be better than any short festival set he does.

so relax

i can already see the "who are you most excited to see" thread being started

ha ha ha ha!! Good Point!!!! ^_^

^^lol I didnt even flinch when peeps mentioned he was missing :stongue:

That being said, some people come from out of town and have their hearts set on certain people, so I guess that would suck. However, Ravi is totally right in that, EZ is a festival full of short sets, if you are only coming for one guy, you may be in trouble! EZ is a GREAT festival with many options, I am sure everyone will have a blast regardless! :D

AvB and PvD and ATB all being booked (with their 30-80K booking fees) might have justified why ticket prices started at $130 this year. So when one of them, the more popular (and expensive) names on the lineup gets taken down, I think we have a right to bitch.. I wouldn't go run to see him at his own event, but getting to see him at this festival, I was pretty hyped as I haven't seen him in 2-3 years.

I'm still a (dirty word) TRANCE fan and this year's trance lineup was already weaker than last years, and is now getting even weaker.
