BTW, I have and will things like this in person, as most people on here can attest. Fortunately, I usually don't have to because most of the people I know from this board and from going out don't act like simplistic idiots. |

There are a million hotels, probably uber expensive since its labour day. Try staying on east side, for better access to the event.
There is a youth international hostel on the upper west side that is actually nice-looking and full of young people. I its in the upper 90's/lower 100's. Its perfect bc the bus that goes to the event is right near there. easy access! |

Yea, I know that the prices are going to be higher because of the holiday.

She gave me a number of 100 per night, i told her g/l with that especially because its labor day weekend. I've told her if anything book a place in jersey and ill pick her and her friends up. And then she said, no because its girls weekend out lol. |

Then tell her at least $200 per night. If she's going to stay outside of Manhattan, stay in queens or long island. They'll find the commute to the festival easier, I believe. Some of the airport hotels may not be a bad idea. |

They're not going to find anything below 200 even during off-peak season, unless it's in the boroughs or Jersey. I think there's a hotel in LIC for about 200 that is new and nice, I would recommend you that one. There are also the hostels good enough to crash and take a shower, tell them to bring their own linens, towels and flipflops for the shared shower (the bathrooms can be very nasty, be careful with which hostel you choose). They could also look for something close to a PATH train in Jersey, the fare is cheap and they'll prob find something inexpensive in Jersey City (although can be shady- check if they have a shuttle, maybe they can be picked up from the PATH station). I wouldn't recommend anything close to JFK, it's way too far and Jamaica is very shady.
Here's a list of hotels in LIC, maybe you can find a cheap one around there and it's very close to EZ.

Found a hostel with rooms for 2 for 100/night, shared bathroom.

How about this, I'm a chick and I'm telling you to grow a pair. Chi Town? PM me who you know there because I know EVERYONE, was there last month and saw peeps at Smart Bar and a few other spots. You claim to have cred, bring it because right now you sound like a talking kunt. If you were down, you wouldn't use your man as back, you would hold your own. You sound like a ing hypocrite, saying any hides behind a computer but this is exactly what you have done.
As much as groundhogboy and I abuse each other, I will still say he holds his own. |
