How different is EZ from EDC/LovEvoulution? (west coast massives)

From some peoples comments here, the festival culture on the east coast is very different from that on the west-SIDE.

Do people get 'dressed for the occasion' like they do out west?
Are there e-puddles scattered about?
Light shows being given?
PLUR in full-affect?
Everyone rolling in unity?

edc and ez are similar in that they have multiple stages with various types of music. biggest difference is the crowd, meaning the number of people attending and the level of retardation they all happen to be in. comparatively ez is classy, you aren't going to see puddles and puddles of 15 year olds high out of their minds along the sides of each stage sucking on pacifiers dressed like rainbow bright. nor will it take you ~30min to get from stage to stage pushing through the middle of the jungle stage. went to edc this year and ez last year, i liked ez better but edc had some really really good moments.

5 total and at least 2 ancillary stages were the size or bigger than the mainstage of EZ last year. You probably saw Coliseum pictures because they looked awesome, not every day you hold an EDM event in an Olympic stadium. Either way, yes lots of children dressed like ravers from a time they barely remember.

Lots of adults dressed like ravers too...i guess its just a west coast thing. we like to get dressed up or down depending on how you see it whenever we can.

I think it gives it a special vibe that is unique to the event.

Who doesn't like scantly clad hotties parading about?

Most festivals around the world involve some sort of costume or garb that is particular to the event.

Great music+great people watching=great festival

i'm sure there were adults dressed like that but from what i saw most were ~23 and younger. to each their own on fashion, personally not for me.
