say you go to the first day and its pouring rain out and you leave it in your pockets and it gets destroyed? or just say you lose it while in the festival?

I can definitely see the pros and cons for them doing this. sure, it cuts down on people selling tickets (etc....) and yeah it can also be crappy if 1) you lose your ticket or 2) it gets wet. even if it doesn't rain, if it's hotter than hell, sweat could ruin it, yes? or what if it falls out of your pocket and you don't realize it?
just gotta make sure you have a death grip on that thing!! |

To me, this screams "bracelets"
DEMF had them for 3 days (made of cloth). The Resolute party with Lee the other day gave two separates that they put both on you at Love if you had the 2 day pass

| On the post about knowing what Moby's "DJ Set" means, maybe it has something to do with him not performing his songs (similar to a band), and spinning a set like everyone else? |

that's kind of what i was thinking....but for some reason i had a horrible vision of one of his previous dj sets being played...and him not really doing it live right there. kind of a dumb thought; but it just crossed my mind.
in any case, i'm really getting excited for this now.
also, it looks like the "hilltop arena" is playing what the "riverside arena" was playing last year...i'm assuming that's where it's going to be then? and that red bull one is the tent closest to the entry? |

i know im a little late with this, but it is ridiculous that you can only buy 2 day passes and that it comes as one ticket for two days.
that, combined with a lineup thats good but not out of this world, has left me a bit disappointed in this years EZ. i was under the impression that they're trying to compete with ultra to be the premiere festival in the US (i would assume so?), but theyre not even close.
im not trying to bitch and sound unappreciative, because it's great that we get a festival here in the city, and a fun one at that. but last year left me thinking it'd be twice as good this time around, and that doesnt seem to be the case.
anyway, /end rant. |
